Halo 3 Lone Wolves Ranked, currently lvl18 and winning 80% of matches that aren't lame randomness like Crazy King.

Burnout Paradise in between. I liek the pearlescent paints and difficulty of this title, although I do miss the intense rush of traffic checking, and Burnout Revenge in general.

Dead Space impossible mode will be completed the next time my mate Dave comes down, then I can lend it out to a couple of people before shelving it alongside all my other AAAs permanently (ie, not to be traded in when under an emergency situation like 99.9% of all my other PAL ****e).

Too Human, while coming to the slow conclusion Silicon Knights simply aren't very good developers, sadly. A reasonable player should die no more than once or twice an hour...? Ahahahahaha - no, try more like ten or twenty. Slow, bland, tedious, low-budget, glitchy and full of so many baffling little design decisions you wonder if SK QA'd it themselves and so forgot how regular people would react to this sort of thing. There's a reason Kratos is invulnerable while he's doing the minigames to rip off an enemy's head, Dyack, you fool (just as one example). And thirty-second unskippable death scene. Thirty second unskippable death scene. "Reasonably skilled" or not, at what point did that seem like a good idea?

And yet it still keeps me playing. It's like a second-rate GunValkyrie in that should you struggle along with the poorly thought out controls and the camera and the meaningless phat lewtz and all the rest of it there are times where it almost, almost, almost works. The storyline (even if it's not as clever as it thinks), the total lack of stupid comic relief, the tone, the feeling of power, the graphic design (some of it, anyway)... I do want to see it out to the finish and I might even play some co-op.

But my God how many missed opportunities can these people get away with before major corporations decide to stop giving them money? Did Eternal Darkness and this actually sell well or something, despite the fact Game are now practically giving new copies away?

back on topic rinsing achievements on fable 2 and enjoying a bit of user created content on little big planet, just played a very cool rollercoaster themed level not liking the need to buy the mgs content though grrr.
You don't need to, just get a friend who has it to invite you and play along with them. However it's well worth the price if you ask me... they are fantastic levels.

Monster hunter, monster hunter, monster hunter...

The urge to get dino-skin armour drives me on...

Just got my 360 setup (no harddrive yet) and played Lips with my wife and 5 year-old daughter (in-laws had a go, too). Pretty good fun, but not enough songs.

Also played a bit of Bully:Scholarship Edition on the Wii with my nephew, which was fun, and also some Geometry Wars:Galaxies on the Wii, which I enjoyed a lot (especially not having played the Xbox/360 versions).

Also tried Crackdown for about 45 minutes (the game I always fancied playing on the 360) and thought it was great.

When I bought my new Elite Crackdown was one of the first games I re-purchased.

I didn't realise quite how much I'd missed it. Mirror's wha'? Sorry, too busy jumping over buildings, thanks.

COD4 online - still an incredible game

Dead Space - not rushing this too much, a game to savour.

GRAW2 - I shelved this months ago, brought back to life to get ready for online gaming with NTSC. Was a bit of a shock to have my ass kicked by being out of cover. Soon back into the silent creep forward/checking corners type of play.

I'm still doing some Mirror's Edge TT's as well as taking Skate 2 online to take part in the Freeskate activities.

                  Jolly good games!

I finished POP this week. I've also been playing a fair amount of PGR4 time trials whilst waiting for the demo of Race Pro.

Still been playing the same games, really!

Been getting a lot into IIDX DJ Troopers on the PS2 recently, aswell as *still* playing Phantasy Star Zero and Ketsui Death Label.

                        Started Resistance 2.

Great opening, great premise, but all told it's an insipid piece of ****.

The thing plays like it's been cobbled together by the work experience staff, the visuals are garbage (why is the water under the Golden Gate bridge made of black gloop?), all the nice little visual touches have been stripped out, the gameplay with it's awful insta-death sequences like something from the early 90's, and the main survival tactic in the game seems to be to circle around the bigger enemies like you're playing Doom for the first time!

To see people fawning all over it in reviews is sickening. It's an insult to the original (which I had a real soft spot for).

Rock Band 2 with my partner on a second guitar. Restored my faith in gaming it has!

More Saints Row 2. I have infinite respect, a couple of infinite ammo unlocks (rifles and handguns) and various other unlocks...25% complete. Starting the missions now. The 50hrs achievement just popped aswell.

Dead Space. Its the only game I've played for weeks now.

I agree it's not a patch on the original (Largely due to the delivery of the story, although I still like the story itself) but it really does improve later on, even if it doesn't change in basic mechanic.

Playing Fallout 3 exclusively at the moment. Have dabbled a little with the Penny Arcade game over the last week or so and expect to give Lumines a try later after its UK release.

Yeah, I'm still figuring out what it is (i.e what's the nature of this beast and how I feel about it), finding my way around the controller, etc, but I love the graphical style and the solidness of the environment.

It's the game that struck me as a must-have exclusive, for the day I got a 360 and thus far hasn't disappointed.
