Playing a ton of LittleBigPlanet. I've recently discovered the magic of the "Quick Play" button. It's like a sweetie dispenser that keeps on giving out.

Also, I've been waiting ages for Braid to drop on Steam.... so if I can stop playing LBP for five minutes I'll give that a spin.

      2d platforming ftw.

Been meaning to check out your new level... promise I'll get to it once the KZ2 disc leaves my drive!

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure, think it's an awesome little game so far.

It's been a productive couple of days for me. Finished Dead Space and Prince of Persia, including the Epilogue DLC, and I'm currently playing thru Conan.

Really enjoying Conan, but the boss battles are some of the toughest, most teeth grindingly irritating feckers I've ever faced. Kind of regret playing it on hard but it didn't feel right playing as Conan on easy. Luckily I don't own a camel, probably would of punched it in the balls by now.

Did two local co-op sessions with a mate on Resi 5, blitzing through Veteran and then Pro mode which was good. Also been playing Tony Hawk's Project 8 and have started off Condemned. THP8 seems really difficult as a THPS2/3 vet, there's lots of new mechanics I just can't get into the habit of using and it seems they're the key to big scores. Condemned isn't quite what I was expecting, feels really clunky but that could just be it's age. Still, want to finish it so I can try out the second which I'm told is better.

Over the last 7 days I've played:

Fallout 3 - Now complete. First game of its 'type' that I've stuck with all the way through to the end. Enjoyed it but unless the formula gets a massive shake up I won't bother with another Fallout/Elders Scroll for a very long time.

Resistance 2 - A few levels in and it's alright in a throw away kind of manner. Sadly at the first real point where it repeats R1's mistake by stopping proper level design and just throwing wave after wave of dull enemies at you. Hopefully, this time, there won't be too many sections like this.

Worms - Bought on a whim and frighteningly still addictive.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic - Big disappointment, largely down to the absence of online play and the shockingly misjudged decision of motion sensor based moves.

Madworld - Quite a laugh. Fun seeing what deaths it'll throw up in each new area but don't see myself playing it past completion.

                      Ahahahahaha...

...wouldn't keep your fingers too tightly crossed there.

Still, it's worth seeing once, I guess.

It's nearly impossible to enjoy the Tony Hawk's games after playing Skate (or the sequel that came out in January earlier this year).

I used to play THPS3 religiously and while the Tony Hawk's series went downhill from there on, it was Skate that made skateboarding games good again, and in absolute style too.

As for Condemned, the sequel is vastly inferior to the original as it turns into an action FPS during the second half.

The original may be showing it's age a little bit and is quite slow in places but the atmosphere and sheer tension is unrivalled - it is still the best horror game on the market today along with SIREN on the PS3.

I am still playing RE5 and Skate 2.

Playing Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway and Pixeljunk Eden on't PS3.

Two underrated gems, if you ask me.

Having recently watched Band of Brothers for the first time, I needed a WW2 game. Despite it taking me a while to get to grips with, Brothers in Arms has really delivered. Sure, the graphics and sound are a little weedy. But some of the set-pieces are really clever, and use the games fun mechanics really well. Would anyone recommend I play the previous ones?

Eden is great, too. Love the control and look of the game. Quite lenghty too, I've sunk in a few hours and only have about 18/50 spectras. Good times.

A lot of gaming this week:

                            Xbox 360:

Viking - I have been meaning to pick this up for a while and I'm glad I did. Great fun and a quick shot on the day I got it turned into a 2 hour stint. Top stuff.

Monster Madness - Not the best game but seems to be fun. Only played into the second level.

Street Fighter IV - Mainly online. Only played 3 times this week instead of my usual 5 or so. Still aces.

Megadrive ultimate collection thingy - Finished off the achievments on this. Had to endure the twin horrors of vectorman though. Never again. Back to streets of rage, golden axe and shinobi!

Prince Of Persia - Still ploughing on with this. Very enjoyable and best played in wee segments.

Golden Axe Beast Warrior - Still ploughing on with this. Not very enjoyable and best not played at all.
A morbid curiousity and self lothing keeps me playing

                            Snes:

Aladdin - Unjustly overlooked in favour of the megadrive version, the snes one is a far better game.

Rookie no Boken - Prequel of sorts to Joe and Mac caveman ninja. Very entertaining and very playable.

NBA Jam Tourny Edition - Ace!

Mr Nutz - Only given this a quick spin but seems a lovely little game. Can see myself spending some time on this one.

On wii its all been about Oboromuramasa, the more i play the more i love it.

On the 360 just finished bioshock, amazing game. Going to go back into it & replay as i want to find more audio diaries.

Still playing dead rising, mirrors edge, portal, & now just started fallout 3 as i thought id swallow my principles & give it a chance, sure it's depressing & miserable brown & grey everywhere but the incredible freedom is refreshing.

Suffice to say a busy gaming backlog now hehe.
