Titans Quest was the only game to come close to D2 imo, crap like Loki and Silverfall were just a joke.

I tried playing Mythos but I couldnt get into it, it's very Diablo 2 but it's slower which sort of ruined the experience for me.

oh i can recommend a indie game called depths of peril....ok not quite professional...but its a really good effort...whats cool is that it gives the illusion of a living world....if you fail to do a quest then later on that affects what happens

Just watched the video on the official site. It looks immense, the physics and environment interactivity look great.

These games really are all about cool loot and customisation and it looks like Blizzard are once again going to show that they are untouchable in this respect.

Really cant wait, without doubt my most anticipated game. Wonder what the system specs for this will be like.

I don't care what they do as long as they sort out the loot system. Maybe Need/Greed or something. No more of that tetris stuff. Oh, and the currency. The currency has gone to hell in Diablo II, but I guess with all Blizz's work on WoW they'll probably know how to make it right.

I am so, so, so excited for this. Diablo was the first game I ever got into playing online, and I can remember how excited I was when I got into the D2 stress test. I love these games and played them all to death with my mates, although we've all drifted from this kind of thing I can imagine something as big as this sucking us all back in completely...

If this is even vaguely as good as I can imagine it being, I am seriously concerned about the damage it may do to my social life.

Kotaku reports that SC2 wont be this year, so seeing d3 in 2008 is a dream.

This is the sequel I've most wanted for years, as every game in this genre since Diablo 2 has fallen short.

Sacred 2 will hopefully be a good alternative while waiting for this though, as Diablo 3 will probably take a long time to come out. Wonder what effect the change of developers will have.

Based on my play of the Sacred 2 demo you'll be best waiting for D3 Shoju, unless it shapes up to be far, far better than the demo suggests.
Titan Quest is a far better alternative to Sacred 2.

titans quest was good.....but it seemed to lack soul....and was polished to a high sheen

sacred 1....was not to bad but could have done with being more focused

dungeon siege 2 i really really enjoyed its huge and lots of items to collect but no real characters

Hellgate....well it was addictive but felt really unfinished....and due to the companys closure looks doubtful it will be

sacred 2 i havent played yet i have ordered it though

what impressed me about blizzard....is they really do support there games....starcraft still gets updates and diablo 2 recieved updates fairly recently
