Yeah, just tried it, its not letting me on.

Apparently you have to change the server location to 'The America's' in order to login .. seems there are no EU servers at the moment! Would have been nice if someone had told us!

Never played a Diablo game before... hell, I just found out its apprently an action RPG? I thought it was an RTS game...

Gonna start downloading now.

EDIT: 12.08 4 minutes later and its downloaded enought for me to actually play O_o

It is really quite excellent. Playing as a Witch Doctor at the moment.

Really enjoying it myself also. Wizard is awesome, voice acting from certain characters is a bit pap though.

FPS a little lower than I'd have liked, but I'm under no illusions that I'm playing on a supercomputer and all I was really arsed about was a minimum constant 30 which I have.

Interesting that I've come across a shield (non magical) that grants 50 defense so early in the game, all the others I've picked up offer less than 10!

The game is massively de-optimised at the minute, mate. They've said it over and over. Any GPU under four years old should laugh at it.

Finally got into the game, though I didnt really have time to have a good go at it by the time they let me on.

Its deffinitley not very well optimised at the minute, I found that it was constantly freezing up during play as if I didnt have enough memory for the game to run smoothly.

Looks pretty good from what I did play though (as youd expect its basically just Diablo 2 with better graphics and a few other tweaks, which im sure is enough for most people), will have to have a proper go at it tomorrow.

FYI, they like to wipe all beta characters often. Atleast they did when I played. Be sure to open your game up to other players, it's lots of fun and there's a few things you can only do in multiplayer such as warping to other players.

Why is the game de-optimised? I'm getting the kind of performance appropriate to my laptop I feel.

Is the suggestion that my 525m chip should be delivering more than it is?
