hehe, weird. Licensing screens? I'd rather have them than text I can't read

Text like what exactly? It's an arcade racer, there will be virtually no text. Shane even had JPN RR7. He knows there is nothing to hinder a Westerner. He's just being smart.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

Yeah, but purposefully buying it off the JP store is ... pointless when theres an exact same version going to be out in full english.

I agree with Joe here. I can't stand not being able to skip those damn Licensing Screens. There was a game quite recently i played that had 10 of them one after the other that i couldn't skip everytime i loaded it up.

I could understand having to go through it the first time, but couldn't they just have a save file or something so the game knows that you have and you can skip them. They really grind my gears.

Tecmo was notorious with their piracy screen

You can skip those after you have seen it once though.

I don't have a UK PSN account, and when I occasionally move the PS3 onto the CRT I wouldn't be able to play it.
Full English or not. I just want to play it, and it won't be in any way unplayable. It's likely it'll come out here later anyway so whilst your busy reading how to press X to go or something else in full English I'll be onto newer things.
                Kept you waiting, huh?

Hmm yeah, but sometimes I couldn't (maybe had to do with signing in or so).

Anyway this is getting from GTI club to RR to licensing screens.

I guess we only pick on you because you only play games with Japanese text. No hard feelings, just a bit of fun... Let the GTI Club+ excitement continue.

Anyone for upscaled Outrun 2 SP?

That DS Lite is JPN really Jon

Lol, roll on November. Hopefully it's not region locked so I can scream at you in a language you won't understand.

Now, eh! I fully understand the whole J love, mate. I really do. It started for me with the Megadrive. I bought games on the strength of boxart alone at times. These days, I'm either more grown up/sick of wasting money on boxart/or find I don't need to import as much - except for my train driving games I buy J.League footy shirts though.

I love that DS. The screen is a glowing portal into game goodness.

Rage Racer > all other ridge racers it was the pinnacle of the series, Type 4 was so awful, so incredibly bad.

Rave racer was amazing, the tracks were to die for, its up there with Daytona as a 90's arcade classic.

I've never seen a Sega Rally Cab with a handbrake, it was always 2 pedals and gear stick, even the deluxe ones were like that. As far as i know GTI club is the only game to have done it ever.

I'm pretty sure Sega Rally 2 had a handbrake.
