    Thing is, Kojima is a very talented games designer with some inventive ideas, but I do think he gets bogged down too much in trying to be something he's not, but that's just me.

    On personal preference, I actually rather like a good story. I've also been interested in getting Rule of Rose for quite some time. Wonder if I can still find it for sale on the net...
    Don't get me wrong, I'm not averse to a good story either, I just don't expect it from every game I play, and if I really do want a genuinely good story, a video game is the last place I'd go looking for one.

    As for Rule of Rose, try play.com, mate. That's where I got mine from. The game got banned in this country (completely unwarranted, IMO), but they'll ship it in from Europe for you.
