I thought it was known that ME was a Microsoft owned IP, so there was never any chance of a PS3 version.

Going multiplatform with the sequal makes me very worried about whether they will continue to see the point in allowing characters stories from the first game to move forward into the second. Given half the audience will be starting afresh they may reboot the storyline which would be quite annoying.

I may have dreamt this, but I believe Bioware were recently talking about the next DLC which is designed to link the two games. It was a arena combat based thingy, but perhaps there is some plot in there too which ends with people thinking the lead dies.
Has this been announced as multiplatform? I thought it was still 360 exclusive.

I imagine it'll be released first 360 and PC and then maybe one day eventually on PS3. Regardless, I'll be playing it on the 360.
As regards the using/not using your save game thing, they could use the same system used in KOTOR2.

Reminds me of the arena battles on Taris. Always used a double bladed vibroblade beast against Bendak......Easy money.

I never played KOTOR 2. Didn't they have it setup so that you answered questions about your character in KOTOR but couldn't actually port them across? I'd really just like to use my existing character. The idea of being able to use the same Shepard throughout the trilogy is what sold it to me in the first place.

I never got on with the first game dispite really trying. The universe and characters were great but technically it was abit poor. The framerate was inconsistant and some of the gameplay elements such as the section with the lava which killed you if you so much as grazed off it with the vehicle belong to a different generation.
Does the loading and framerate improve with an install to the 360's hard drive? and what was the PC port like ? was there any major improvements to the games graphics etc ?
*just been listening to the first games soundtrack and bloody hell its a bit good isn't it *Last edited by Fargo; 21-02-2009, 17:20.
