the game will be badass, regardless of the framerate. It will be smooth, the detail will be immense, and it will rock SO SO hard. I don't care about the 30fps thing, because my f360 spider will be whupping you on live.

Theres no doubt it`s gonna be good with more tracks, great looking cars and the inclusion of Live. After trying MSR again last night at 30 it`s not as bad as i remembered but still it`s not a patch on playing it at 60. I hope they take some peoples suggestion at giving you a option of 30fps with FSAA or 60fps without FSAA as this would suit everyone.

To be totally blunt, I think all the whiners who say that 30fps is unacceptable for PGR2 are wierd, or are just desperate to find reasons to bash any Xbox game.
OK, so if the game was XGRA or F-Zero then mabye 60fps would make a difference as the races run at extremely high speeds (1000mph+), so a smooth framerate is important for those split-second reactions. This type of racing game is very 'twitch' based, with little emphasys placed on getting the best racing line etc.
But for a racing sim, where split-second reactions are not as important as learning the track/learning how to drift/learning the best racing line, and the cars drive much slower (yea, Ferraris are fast, but not 1000mph-fast), then that 60fps is less important.
It would still be nice to have, but i seriously doubt it's going to ruin anyones gaming experience.
Just remember, Ridge racer, Rage Racer, Rollcage and Wipeout are all fast racing games that were (and still are) perfectly playable at 30fps
