Fear not, Jebus, this is currently on my download list, stacked behind a couple of mega demos. I should be giving my impressions in about 6 weeks at this rate! And trying that Jonny Crush game too.

Anyone tried out Streamline? It's a rather simple looking strategic racing game but I'm finding it addictive.
Downloaded the demo a few days ago and I'm enjoying it a lot. There's seven challenging levels in the demo so I'm really tempted to purchase the game for 200 points. Finally a good community game which is not a freaking massager or wall clock!Last edited by gaanbo; 23-05-2009, 00:20. Reason: for some reason I put down four levels instead of seven, doh

Decided to purchase Streamline and having played it to the end (about three times over) it seems that in the full game there are no more extra levels beyond those already offered in the trial. I'm completely baffled to be honest. It's bizzare to think I was already experiencing everything the game had to offer in the so-called demo version; nothing of this sort was mentioned in the game nor in the game description and it makes no sense! I just naturally assumed the trial version was meant to be a taster of the final product.
I don't feel ripped off as I think the game is pretty good and it's great to support the indie developers, but even after paying the small price of 200ms points I'm sad to say I do feel a tiny bit cheated. Perhaps the game is meant to be quite short time-wise, indeed it can be completed in under 30mins, but how was I meant to know that?
Anyway I'm just letting you guys know about this particular game just in case and I hope in future the community games service will become much better regulated than it is at the moment. This doesn't mean I'm put off community games for good, although I probably might be more careful now in what I buy.
Maybe I should track down Dotstream for the GBA! Didn't know about it 'til now, thanks Paulos G.

Tried a few other games.
Hexothermic is a neat idea, but impossible to make sense of so it's a bit too random.
Prismatic is a nice puzzle game.
Jonny's Biscuit Adventure or whatever it's called was ace - BOUGHT
Groov sounded lovely, but I think lacked long term appeal
Solar was a cool toy, really, in sandbox mode. You float around absorbing planets, the kind of thing you could easily lose hours to when you want to chill out
Miner Dig Deep is, of course, excellent - BOUGHT
Carneyvale Showtime should really be an XBLA game. Excellent presentation
World Revolution looks awesome, absolutely love the graphics. Protect cities from incoming missiles by setting up charges - BOUGHT
Zoomaroom, rubbish, nonsense
Puzzword, was having fun until it didn't take "the" as a word, but did accept "vac," defining it as a shortened version of "vacation." Bizarre dictionary, but nice idea.

Hexothermic was the first Community Game I bought. I didn't find it to be random. By taking the colour progression into account I had great fun trying to set up huge chain reactions with as few detonations as possible.
I really liked the trial of Groov but also wondered about the longevity. I keep going back to the trial though so I'll probably cave and get the full game at some stage.
Agree with you about Carneyvale Showtime.

I just couldn't get my head around the mechanics. The chain reactions were really pretty but I kept clearing entire levels without really feeling like I'd done anything to deserve it.

May have to have another look at some of these.
