I just bought Total Miner - Forge , which is a clone of Minecraft for the 360, its pretty good and has 2 modes dig deep and creative, dig deep has RPG adventure and action, and creative just llets you build whatever takes your fancy, its priced at 240 MS

Still horny for Infinity Danger, not just one of the best XBLA Indie games I've played but also one of the best games I've played in a long time, 'tis f*cking ridiculous it costs that mere 80msp. What a nice bit of work.

Think I'm only about 274th in the world or summat, took proper WORK to get there, *need* to get into that Top 10, CRAVE being World No.1 for at least a day!!!!

PS: DL'd Prismatic Solid as a result of this thread. Cannot believe it's 80msp. Such a lovely game!! (But I still like Infinity Danger better)

Any more J-shooters/platformers/arcade games out on XBLA Indie, crazy-good like this?

My personal favourite is Vorpal. The appeal is 90% visual for myself but it's an acceptable boss rush jobbie.



They are also working on a second that should be out in September.

Who is God (80pts)



Simple platform game where you take control of God and climb (well, jump) as high as you can as you try and make it to Heaven. You can (sometimes must) collect stars along the way which boost you upwards and it's all played out to a wicked little techno soundtrack.

It's a fun little game and I love how you can choose between Buddha, the Judeo-Christian 'bearded-guy-in-the-sky' God, the Hindu Elephant God Ganesh, and so on. It's a nice little touch.

That's by Magiko, who also made the PLATFORMANCE games and Bunker Buster, all of which are cool.

Who is God is pretty cool, but I'm over this genre what with having an iPhone, Doodle Jump really perfected it. I do like how it tells you who the current God is on the title screen though, whoever in the world has the highest score.
