Translation thanks to GAF:

• Multiplayer co-op for 3 players. Different story than single player. Zones/actions in the map requiered for 2/3 players. Mini bosses in each section. Players will revive after a few seconds (lees if the other players helkp to revive)
• Deathmatch. 4vs4 you can choose two skills. And you need to explore like in Uncharted 1 to find the strongest weapons.
• Capture the treasure, is like CTF. 4vs4 trying to steal treasures from the enemy base.

Sounds like they're taking some co-op cues from R2, which is no bad thing. Other than that I can take it or leave it frankly, I don't need competitive multiplayer in this.

Thing is, if you're developing a co-op mode you get deathmatch for free anyway. Needs the same tech.

There's a rundown of the multiplayer (And some footage). They certainly seem to like it anyway (No mention of them playing the co-op in there though).

If the single player crashes and burns because of the dev's wasting time on a crappy multiplayer aspect then I'll cry bitter salty tears of regret all over my DS3.

More multiplayer footage, and some images too. Looks very nice, although the transition between running at the wall with a gun and climbing was a bit jarring, with the gun just disappearing.
