Just finished reading through the Eurogamer, they've written a really good review there. The same 10/10 rating from C&VG too. It looks like the embargo has lifted so there should be a few out today then.

That EuroGamer review is fantastic. Very well written.
I am downloading the Beta now.
Glad I didn't buy FIFA 10 at work today to play on my day off tomorrow as I think I will just end up playing this all day instead!!
EDIT: Weirdly, the UK Store lists this as the Uncharted 2 Beta and spouts some nonsense about it cloasing in June / July. Nice and lazy of them. It's also failed to download. Ah crap, I know I said I was going to resist downloading the latest version of the beta but I've given up and I'm downloading it now.
I'd forgotten that I opened this a while back but there's a multiplayer thread with a list of people who want to play.
It's going to be out of date now but I suppose everybody is going to try this but I suppose it's worth sticking names down if people want to party up.
There's probably about a million people downloading this so it take a while.Comment

This looks excellent, cannot wait to get my hands on it. The graphics look amzing! I'm a huge fan of the first one, was the first game to keep me on my PS3 and that's pretty rare for me.Comment

My main concern, and feel free to laugh, is that I'm worried it won't sell very well, even with all these glowing reviews and amazing press!
I seem to recall someone (possibly on this very forum) saying that the original under-performed and I can see a lot of "unknowledgable" gamers missing this as they stick with what they know in terms of buying Need for Speed, FIFA, Call of Duty etc.
Even now when I talk to customers buying their PS3 consoles, I tell them that they have to play the first Uncharted and they look at it and shrug. I'm waving my arms around and getting stupidly over-excited about how good it is (best game on PS3) and they just say "nah, I'll take CoD 5". It was the same with inFamous.
Sony's marketing is going to have to be exceptional for this to take off like we all know it deserves to!Comment

Just completed some co-op and Plunder with Mr Parry.
Amazing stuff. Looks incredible and there was never a hint of lag.
Question: do all PS3 headsets have such sensitive mics? Mine seems to pick up even trace amount of ambient noise.Comment

Wouldnt say all mics. Some might be more sensitive than others. Also, mic placement. Breathing from nose on mic etc. Run some tests with friend and get a balance. Adjust the mic volume etc.Comment
