Riz-zoawd, officially the most beautiful ds game i have ever seen

Can't be arsed with a first play thread but i took a chance on ordering this & im so glad i did, such a beautiful game both the music & the graphics are stunning it's hard to believe they are even on ds. I have played a lot of ds games & seen nothing of this graphical quality.

Basically it's an rpg loosely based on the wizard of oz, feels a bit like dragon quest with the battles but its a lot of fun, bit hard though i keep dieing all the time lol

Anyone else played/ heard of this game?

Heres a nice trailer but the graphics have to be seen in person to appreciate just how lovely they are, the enviroments are just so detailed.

I've been interested in it since it was first revealed, although I have yet to order it. Doubt it will be released outside Japan though so will probably get round to importing it sometime in the future.

Yes you do, dorothy is controlled by a trackball & it actually works really well, the ball has momentum like a real trackball so you dont have to constantly keep flicking it like a madman contrary to what the trailer shows you. Just flick a few times to get up to speed & away you go, all the menus & stuff is all touch screen & controls fine.

Read about it in Famitsu over the last few months. Looked okay until I say the DQ-style battles. I'll pass. Tales of Hearts for me instead.

Graphics look really good for a DS game, but can't say the same about the gameplay. I mean the whole "rub, rub, rub, rub, rub, rub" thing to run around.

lol, the game looks interesting......... in fact the running part would be a good idea for a sonic game or something..........

So its a take on the Wizard of Ozz in an RPG style of play.......... could work i guess......... sounds like it feels right at home on a DS.

Good news, Xseed are making a lot of happy DS owners with their efforts in localising niche games. Wish they'd pick up that Ring style horror RPG after this.

They ported Flower, Sun & Rain, and for that I love them. This looks quite excellent too, albeit in a completely different way. Shall be keeping a close eye on this.
