    Now that makes sense

I wish they'd done that with that Blaz stick & even the Mushi Futari one as well.

Got an LS-32-01 and 8 x PN-14-Gs into my Fightstick today and it really makes the world of difference. Not sure if I'll be using it for fighters over my TE, but it'll certainly be the stick of choice for shmups. Next thing is to get some art done - think I'm going to go through Mame Marquees for this, they use polycarbinate laminate which is meant to be better than the 'lamilabels' that our chums in the states rave about, and they'll ship internationally too.

Could you give recommendations for an "arcade stick noob" for a decent, affordable stick for the Xbox 360, mainly for playing SSFIV?

I'd prefer something in the price range of 40? max.

        Are these any good?

        or

        Thanks for any answers.

In my experience the Hori EX2 is a bit loose. Its ok, but nothing special.

The datel one I've read about, seems its ripe for some modification. One thing to consider is that there is no connection available for the live headset. Which means you'd need a wireless headset.

So out of the box I reckon the hori would be your best bet.

            Ok, thanks.

The head-set thing wouldn't bother me too much, since I'll be most likely playing with a friend offline, but it's a good thing to know.

REPEAT POST! Kernow has been awesome in guiding me through installing the new Sanwa parts I ordered into our cab over on the retro forum, which started out as a Jamma harness query - he was right, it was an absolute piece of pissock in the end (apart from having to get my mate to make me some new metal stick mounts, but that was easy for him. I'm just lucky one of my housemates is a precision engineer). Cheers man!:

Woohoo! Mission complete! Thanks man, could never have done it without you drilling on about how piss easy it all was.

I gave out a big gay "wh00p!" when the down indicator went from 0 to 1 in the input test, then I tried it repeatedly about 1,000 times because it felt so good.

              Here are the pics:

The cables inside are all over the place, so one day when I've nothing to do I'll tidy everything up with fresh cable ties and arrange it all neatly.

Oh yeah, I was being sarcastic about asking where to find a big Capcom logo. Thought you'd twig onto that one. :P

...and now I can't find the one that was spammed around so much just recently. Help again! ><

I just recieved my new stick from some guy in China.

It's a wireless 360 stick with sanwa parts for the main buttons and stick. Admittedly it feels cheaper than a proper tournament stick (I used to have one from SFIV but sold it for a mint at the height of the shortages) but wireless was important for me as I play on a projector and sit waaay back from the screen.

All up its a very good stick and better than playing on a fightpad which I also own. The wireless also seems to work perfectly, no lag issues or anything. In short I am delighted with my purchase and now need to practice like crazy!

Cool, shame they cost as much as a cab almost..

Either way, sweet as arcade stick.

                                Lovely stick.

Hori are going to be bringing them out in the US, maybe we'll see them in the UK at some point? If so, hopefully they'll be a bit cheaper.
