In the original pic on the site it was a much shorter case and the sides weren't slanted. The change is for the best as I don't see how you could fit a PCB in there comfortably with the original design.

Geezer do you know what wood they used to build your case?

really worth over 100 quid as opposed to a horiex2 which i cld prob get for 70quid?

Yes, that Tournament Edition stick is worth the money but avoid the Hori EX2 if its costing ?70. For that type of money you're better off getting the SFIV Fightstick SE. At least the buttons and joystick can be swapped easily in that (doing the same in the HORI requires lots of soldering and is a bit of a nightmare).

MY VSHG is finally seeing action thanks to Blazblue, one thing that has struck me is just how grubby the damn thing gets after a session! I never noticed this problem back in the day with my DC stick... I've started washing my hands before playing but I still have to wipe the stick with a baby wipe type tissue afterwards to get it feeling normal again.

Anyone else have this situation? I wonder if the frantic nature of BB just makes me sweat more than I ought to be and exacerbates the problem heheh

I don't think so, the shaft itself is fine, it's just the balltop that goes all sticky! I'm putting it down to the climate here.

Bear in mind though if you're not planning on spending the £40 or so to swap the stick/buttons for Sanwa ones that the SE stick's stick and buttons are awful

Just been bowsing on the look out for a new PS3 Stick & it appears PLAY are getting in UK stocks of Hori Raps for the 360 & PS3...

Not cheap though at £130 each but might be a nice alternative to those who were originally looking for the Madcatz TE sticks.
