Looks absolutely brilliant, great looking scenery. Might be my most anticipated game of next year. Great sounding score too, though I would expect no less from Rockstar.

Greatest western game of all time? Here's hoping.

New gameplay "introduction" trailer. Must say, it is looking rather good!

          Wow, nice.

Looking forward to this and the setting should make it suitably different from any other open world genre games we've had of late.

              Something wrong with that?

No, but it does strike me as an odd choice for a sandbox game. The western landscape is famous for nothing-ness (i.e. tumbleweeds and one-horse towns) so you're probably going to have to trek through a lot of wide-open spaces. From the video it looks great but I'm keen to see how they make the whole experience varied and interesting.

I'm not sure why the game needed that trailer, but it's looking great.

Probably because there's always a tonne of bitching (not talking about on here) whenever game trailers are released saying "Yeah but wake me up when there's real gameplay footage".

                    So there it is

Wow, that trailer came out of the blue. Thought it would be a while before we saw any gameplay stuff. I've got to be honest, it's looking like everything I hoped for and more!

Really glad rockstar gave it that extra 8 months or so, it really shows.

Thats the first real stuff i have seen of it. It totally blew me away, wasn't a huge fan of the xbox original. But i'm now eagerly looking forward to this, more games set in the old west, yes please!

It looks fantastic, and I'm speaking as a fan of the original - I liked the comedy, but I don't mind seeing it go... indeed, if this is going to be riffing on The Wild Bunch/as serious as GTA IV I'm even more excited. Most of what was in the trailer I already knew from the other previews, but seeing it in motion... absolutely magical.

The one downside... I don't mind, but the graphics whores are going to paste it, I'm fairly sure. The Rage engine is getting a little creaky, so for those who crave 1,000xAA, 1TB textures and hypersupermeganisotropic filtering this is probably going to come as a letdown. Me? Couldn't care less - the art direction looks fantastic.

Me ol' favourite, GUN, was a great GTA type sandbox set in the Wild West, and RDR looks like it will surpass it....Shoot buffalo ftw.
Though I'm fed up with manning machine gun/gatling gun posts. bah

Golly gosh I'm looking forward to this... love the clouds and weather dynamics, and that town at 2:50 looks superb!!

The video hints at plenty of fun things to do as well...

Definitely a highlight of the trailer for me - I'm fully expecting some heavily suppressive Unforgiven-esque atmosphere created by those storms.
