Each seems to be <60 blocks, so me might actually be able to have a wodge of these in the DSi's internal memory (~1000 blocks).

We can also get our "free" 1000 points by connecting to the shop on or after December 24th. Merry Christmas indeed.

WOWEE!!!! It's only been out practically no time at all and they come out with these amazing and cheap online downloadable titles, which all look like must buy's for me.

Nintendo really are brilliant at the moment, and I absolutely love the Dsi, it does everything I need a portable device to do, and it's sooooooooooooooo much better playing games like Zelda PH on the bigger screen's.

Also with the Dsi having double the graphics and processing power, well double the clock sppeed, and more ram, we could potenially see some Dsi exclusives that take advantage of the extra ram, and horsepower, in fact there will, as the powerof the extra ram alone is like the n64 expansion pak, it will give texture's far more quality.

How does one connect to the shop? Simply start up the channel in range of a wi-fi connection?

        Apparently, yes.

Have you not connected to it to download the browser? You have to do the same as for the Wii and add your Club Nintendo details when you do.

Yes it's an absolutely thrilling selection of titles.

Of course, I'm being sarcastic, and hoping you are too. Seriously, the DSi Store has potential, and I'm sure we'll see some cracking games over time, but you're getting excited a tad too early methinks, accepting anything and everything.

                The price is right though.

Anyone know if those 1000 points just magically appear in your account on th 24th?

Can't wait for the Wario title, and hoping the Magic Taizen games will be playable

Okay a new Made in Wario is cool but the rest aren't anything special. More brain training, art style games? woop-de-do.

The bigger screen does sound nice but I fail to see how 0.25inches can make playing DS games "sooooooooooooooo much better"

Also where did you get the specs from? I can't find any concrete details on the DSi's internal specs other than it's a bit powerfuller than the DS lite.

Oh and the battery life is down a fair bit which sucks (although it was expected I guess)

The thing about the extra power is how many games will take advantage of it? It's not like the N64 ram pack in that anyone can buy it (or it can be bundled with games) to upgrade their Console so Developers will have to either make a game that works on DS + DS Lite and somehow still take advantage of the DSi's hardware when plugged into it or they have to make a game exclusively for the DSi which has a much smaller userbase meaning less $$$!

Lord I hope we don't get DS and DSi versions of games. It was bad enough with the GBA Ports early on in DS' lifetime

I maybe misquoted a little bit, what I meant is they have incresed the ram, incresed the clock spped and generally made the whole machine a little more powerful. Now in Nintendo's hand's this power can be immense, just take a look at something like Majora's mask on N64, and that was with only extra ram.

Now I know what you guys are saying userbase wise, but I have to disagree, anyone keeping their eye on the Asian market, well japan, will see that the Dsi is selling like Hotcake's, and that Nintendo will have to support that new huge userbase, this isn't like jumping from the GBA sp from the normal Gba, this is a total overhaul of the system's main architecture and operating software.

The reality is that the DS and DS Lite have a massive install base that eclipses the DSi's current install base, so Nintendo (or indeed any other developer) would be insane to put heavy focus on DSi-specific titles until there is a sizable install base worldwide. The reason DS Store titles work so well for Nintendo is they're relatively cheap to produce, being presumably smaller scale than full retail titles, with minimum publishing costs. But as things stand right now, it's almost bizzare to be so hyped up about the DSi until there's anything to get hyped up about.

Like I've already said, Nintendo say the points are credited to your account when you connect to the shop on or after December 24th 2008 and before March 2010.
