The DSiware catalogue looks alright but nothing really grabs me, the DSi's many flaws and stupid price tag still lead me to believe the DS lite is superior

If I buy a Japanese DSi then I assume that I`ll be locked to the Japanese DSi Ware store, is this right?
If so, will it be possible to download games from the Jap DSi Ware store once back in the UK provided I source Japanese points?
I don`t see me downloading a lot but it would be nice to know that I can if the mood takes me.
Many thanks.

Gots me my DSi and sorted everything so I got my 1000 free points. Also bought a 1000 too.
Downloaded "Chotto Panel de Pon" (if I've got that right) as I've always been a sucker for that game and have owned it in many guises.
Any other DSi Ware games that I should consider downloading? The selection looked a little thin but I guess that's to be expected what with it being so early in it's life.

Buy PictoPic, great block-sucking-painting-tetris style game with a very good soundtrack
Decode, if you like maths then this is a good game, and has a good 2 player game to it and uses the touch screen very well
Look at all the Art Style games and choose the one that appeals to you , they are all quality games for the price, so its just a matter of choosing the game style that attacts you

Decode has been updated to allow download play by the way. The puzzle mode is the most interesting I think. I would say the game is less about maths and more about learning tactics to switch numbers around.
I'm trying to decide which to get out of the latest table game selection, the train guide, pictopic or hacolife. I'll probably just play decode some more while I think about it...

Three more on March 25th
200 points
Phantasy Star Zero MINI
500 points
Kuukiyomi
Korogashi Puzzle Katamari Damashii
The PSZ-m one really surprised me. It seems to be a time-attack game where you choose either, Kai, Ogi or Sarisa and try to get the best time/score on the first level of PSZ. 200 points and mini PSZ on my DSi...I'm very tempted...That's if I can tear myself away from Hacolife...
I should also add that PSZ-m is for 1-4 players BUT each player must have the game. It is NOT online compatible, NOR can you co-op with PSZ players.Last edited by kryss; 19-03-2009, 13:23.

Oh yeah, Target in the US have let slip that you get 1000 points with the DSi. Seems very likely we'll get the same over here. I'm fully expecting Nintendo to send out PRs or do a news conference detailing what DSiWare stuff we'll be able to get at launch.
There's also lots of rumours that Nintendo will be lining up a killer Ap for DSiWare. Given the extra 8megs of ram and double CPU, it's entirely possible they'll produce something with really impressive graphics.
