I am going to buy it from play with that RAC code. I would have caved in as soon as see one in a shop so may as well get it at cheap price. The smaller form factor and inboard memory is clincher for me. I will be happy with those 4 free games and will buy monster hunter, colin mcrae and medal of honour from psn and that should do me till lbp comes out near Xmas.
I noticed the buy option on the White one is gone at play.com. Wonder when release date for that one is

This certainly isn't going to be for everybody and people who aren't interested have nothing to lose by ignoring it completely.

I'm importing one from the US, I've got family over there so it's going to cost me around ?130 delivered. With that I'll get 4 games included and luckily there are actually 4 games that I would have been tempted to pay for too.

I really wasn't expecting any games with the new model & I'm very surprised that Sony are actually giving them away.

It's unfortunate really, It would have been far better if Sony had completely ignored retails with the original release and had that as download only. I think until high street retail is removed the process online retail of things like this will never evolve to let different companies selling game codes at prices to compete with other online shops.

This is a very, very small step in that direction but it will happen wether people want it to or not.

I didn't, not really a fan of that series to be honest. The US Store has loads of stuff on it now and I've got a few downloaded games already.

I really can't wait for the minis more than anything, I'm sure I'll be spending loads on those.

Yep, I would have definitely paid that much for it and maybe even a little bit more...not much though.

Just pull yourself together, man! I sometimes get like this with new things, but after a while the feeling subsides.
