Does anybody have any indication of how well the Go has sold?

The reason i ask was i was out getting FIFA 10 on Friday (about 13:00) and the branch of Grainger Games i was in were still to sell their first one. Still they were asking £220 each.

I have to admit for a split sec i was going to just buy it, even though i strongly object to the price and the approach Sony has taken. Its new gadj syndrome.

proably because this place has never had much love for the PSP. Hopefully the Go will change that, but I expect this is just a brief resurgence of interest.

I know some people here have been playing SC though, so get an FP thread up ya lazy gets!

Yep. All four. Aside from GT, I chose Resistance Retribution, Patapon & WipEout Pure. No complaints here. Also bought Motorstorm and SoulCalibur. The hardware is fantastic and four free games actually does feel like a gesture of good will.

I know it's a poorly thought out machine, but it's new and shiny and I have major magpie disorder. My wife is constantly moaning about the number of games I have, so being able to keep them within the console itself is alright in my book.
Yeah, she probably doesn't ever have to know how much you spend or how many games you have. I'm not so lucky as my UK PSN account was set-up with my partners email, so I can't so much as buy a Singstar track without it going noticed. Thankfully, she has never questioned once what I spend on games but I did find myself logging-in to her email account over the weekend & deleting the constant stream of PSN top-up emails as I kept finding something else to buy for the Go on the store.

Has anybody with a US machine managed to successfully get PSP Rewards from the UK store?

I must be rather dim as I cannot find the list or even the website where I can download my three games for nothing (along with Gran Turismo).

              Thank you to whoever helps!

From memory, so sorry if I've got some of it wrong:

On the Go, go into the store and select PSP rewards from the left hand menu. There should be a single item in there which says something like "activate this account for rewards". Select that and it'll tell you that the account's activated.

Turn off the Go and log on to the store on your old PSP. Go into the rewards section again and you should get the option to register a UMD, then download a Go theme. Once you've done this, you'll get emailed the codes for the three games at some unspecified point in the future.

As I searched for my old PSP this morning, I had almost convinced myself to get one of these new ones. I may have if I couldn't find it. But I did. And I also found a ridiculous amount of UMDs to go with it.

I never bought into the myth that the PSP had no good games, though it did pretty much die a death over a year ago.

As a result, I came to the conclusion that I'd be nuts to get this unless a) it lets me transfer my current games to the system or b) it offers something new, like being an actual PSP2 or whatever.

It does neither. Moment has passed. Sanity is restored.

Still, Ridge Racers 2, eh? One of the laziest sequels known to man and yet also one of the most fun racers. Lovely game.

Ah, Ridge 2. Amazing, if as you say, lazy, sequel! My fave Ridge game.

Just seen Powerstone is up on PSN. If the nub on the go is as good as people say it might be worth picking this up too. I liked it on old PSP but it
                      was quite tricky to control.

Yes, the US Store does have a lot more games than the UK equivalent, and the pricing appears to be a bit more competitive. Puzzle Quest is only US$8 for example. You also have the PSOne Classics store which has the likes of Suikoden, Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Final Fantasy Tactics all for between US$6 and US$10.

                                What accesories have people bought?

And how do you rate them?
