Allow me to grab PES, Tekken, Lumines, Outrun 2006, Ridge Racer 2 and the full version of Rock Band Unplugged on the US Store and I'll be a happy chappy.

The lack of all of those titles is criminal.

I really enjoyed it. The single player campaign was fun, but the real fun was in the multiplayer versus mode. I used to have a demo and me and my brother used to play the same level in versus mode repeatedly.

Ridge Racer 2 was never released in the US. Probably because SCEA realised it was exactly the same as the original, give or take a handful of new courses and cars.

But yes, I want Lumines, Outrun 2006 and Ridge Racer 2.

Ridge Racer 2 can be had for a meagre £8 on UMD though...

Ridge RacerS 2 is surely the best PSP title available. I'm hoping for a massive update of available games come November 1st, which will include this. I already know how SCEI work though, so I'm pinning my hopes on the first game at the very least.
            Kept you waiting, huh?

Woot. I've just had my order for a bunch of official PSP Go! accessories confirmed. Amongst them are the Bluetooth Stereo Head-set Reciever and Converter Cable Adapter, which are not available here.
The Head-set Receiver looks particularly sweet, has a built-in remote control and means I can use my existing wired headphones via bluetooth.
I'll be able to use my Chotto Shot camera, and GPS and 1-Seg receivers with my Go! (Well not the 1-Seg as it doesn't work here, but hey).

I do love an official accessory. Roll on November 3rd.

For those who now own a go...

Roughly how many games can you have downloaded at once?

Don't fancy deleting and redownloading stuff all the time (used to drive me crazy on the Wii)

I've got about ten games on mine at the moment and still have 6 gig free.

Also, although I've not tried, I'm quite sure you can just move the games over to a PC or PS3 for "storage" rather than deleting the entire thing.

                  Although I'm probably wrong.

Mine is near full, I've got:

                    FF7
Rockband Unplugged + 3 extra songs
                    GT
                    Wipeout
                    SF - Dark Mirror
                    Resistance
                    Monster Hunter
                    Street Fighter 2 - Alpha

I'm not really sure how to move my games off it though as I have a Mac and the bundled software isnt compatible with it.

Can you not just hook it up via USB Mode and move the game folder from the PSP to the Mac?

As I say, I've not tried doing this - I merely presumed you could

You have to delete and re-D/L. You can do this as many times as you like, provided you are using the same hardware, well the first 5 units you transfer to actually.

Media go not working on mac is stupid. I use parallels so I'm going to install media go on that. You can backup games to pc and then restore them. You don't need to redownload them. I've got:

                          Ff7
                          Resistance
                          Manhunt 2
                          Gt
                          Ratchet n clank
                          Everybodys golf
                          Pinball fantasies
                          Beats
                          Street fighter alpha
                          Several albums

I have about 7 gigs left.
I've got an 8 gig card in mine as well so not worried about space really.

                          EDIT:

Media Go through parallels works fine. At first it didn't detect the PSP so I went into control panel->admin tools->Computer Management->Device Manager and one of the USB devices had the little yellow "I'm broken" icon. I told it to update the driver and then it worked fine.

                          Currently backing everything up.

Can the Go! be charged off of a PS3/PC via USB or one of these?

Or do you have to use the supplied PSU?

The boy has not brought the supplied one over and we cannot seem to get it to charge using the one pictured. Seems odd to me, seeing as it says "Charges PSP" on the box.

                            EDIT.

I worked it out. You have to enable USB mode for it to charge this way. Looks like he'll have to wait to play it.

It'll charge via USB direct from the PS3 if you switch the USB charge option in the Go menu on. The machine needs to be switched on to in order to start charging but it'll go into sleep mode after a bit.

                              At least, mine does.

The new LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival is on PSN now, and it works superb on the PSP Go. You can play it completely with the system closed, no need for any other button presses other than the L and R. There's a demo, and the full game is only ?11.99. Bought!
