To be honest, the only advantage the US store has is a couple of slightly earlier releases and the fact that Atlus are fairly active (even if they do overprice their titles).

Dont think i agree with that Bigsmurf, i got sega titles at christmas in the sale for £6.50 each compared to £15- £18 on the UK store, the US store has Ridge racers, silent hill origins, Castlevania to name but a few so i think the US store is far better than the UK one.

Plus all the PSOne titles are not gimped on the US store.

Problem is that RR2 isn't available in the US and therefore will never see the light of day in the US store. Account switching is, to me, too much of a hassle to seriously build 2 or even 3 different libraries.

I would say, make the trade. I'm also thinking of dumping my Go (only got like 3 games anyway). You'll be sure that you'll get anything new on time, and you can pick up games like Lumines.

Compared to the Go, the regular PSP is kind of clunky though.

            Wise fwom your gwave!
Ok so how about if you buy ten games and get a PSP GO! free?
Er I mean how about TEN FREE GAMES when you register a PSP GO! after April 1st 2010?

            Few titles in the deal.

            Gran Turismo
            LittleBigPlanet
            2010 FIFA World Cup
            Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars

            Article here
Sony will shortly announce a brand new incentive scheme to encourage sales of the digital-only PSPgo, MCV can exclusively reveal. - MCV/DEVELOP

So if you didn't register your Go! I suppose you can do it now and get 10 free games, woo hoo.......

What about us mugs who bought the thing ages ago? I guess they have loads of these in stock or something. As long Peace Walker is available to download, I will get by. Still waiting for Konami to put PES2010 on PSN. I best give up on that.

What is registering exactly? How do I do it? I'm not sure if I have done it or not already. I got the free MotorStorm game.

You don't mean as part of this new free game thing right?

You can D/L Peace Walker in Japan for 4,700 Yen, so I reckon it'll be available over here too.

Okay but, er, April 1st 2010 has gone by already.

Saying that, if this is true, with the homebrew possibilities now open, PSPGo! could actually become a worthwhile purchase.

                  There's something I never thought I'd say.

If you bought it ages ago, then presumably you were happy with the deal ages ago, so no problem there

I think the homebrew thing is gonna end up failing miserably. No doubt Sony will combat it by making PSP games incompatible with CFW. It'll be a constant battle between official and custom, and I reckon it'll end up being tiresome having to stay on top of it all the time.

I'm tempted by one now if this turns out to be true, may just wait until
after E3 to see if they announce a psp2 before I decide to part with my 3000.

Bloody hell, is that what they're going for these days?

(Actually, Argos are selling them for £140 on eBay right now. If this 10 game offer is true, good price.)

                          Very droll

Thanks for the Argos tip if this is indeed true I'll go for that.

Says a lot about how much a console has failed when you can offer 10 free, high profile games and people STILL can't get excited.

I haven't exactly got a hard on over it but maybe a chubby semi in the excitement factor stakes.
