Ah well. I'd have been more disappointed had there been more games on that list I actually wanted.

There may still be hope, seems the details are you have to donwnload a theme.

"The process is simple. First, unwrap your shiny new PSPgo and connect to PlayStation Network. Then activate your PSPgo account and launch PlayStation Store to download the new PSPgo theme. Once the email voucher has arrived you can start downloading your ten free games and enjoy! And if you?ve recently purchased your PSPgo, don?t worry, you haven?t missed out - the offer is open to all PSPgo owners who purchased their PSPgo after April 1st 2010."

          Interesting.

So I might still be able to get this even though I can't register my device? It is activated through my UK PSN account...

I just read through the terms. You need to have a psp go that has not had a PSN account registered through it before April 1st. So this rules out a second hand one someone used prior to that date. I believe they can tell if the machine serial number has been used through PSN. So creating a new user and trying that won't work (for those 3 of us with 2 PSP go).
I now have two psp go with exact same games on each. Guess I can keep them both with me and swap when one battery dies

              D'oh.

Actually looknig at the list I would only really want GT, LBP and Motorstorm and Wipeout Pure.

Is this worth getting another Go for? I'm not so sure.

I've bought content on the US store through mine (never the EU one) ... that might be enough to rule it out.

If you have not activated an eu psn user through it you may be in luck. I would give it a try next week. I may try the second hand one I bought recently. It looks brand new so previous user may have bought it after April 1st

After April 2010? That sucks. My boy is not gonna be pleased.
                    Kept you waiting, huh?

Ok, I need some help please.

My Go is with me at work and completely dead.

I brought the USB cable with me but it doesn't appear to charge with that.

I have an Apple transformer block that you plug a USB into before it plugs in to the wall. It is AC 100-240V
                      1.0A

If I put the USB for the Go into it, will it explode?

AC 100-240 is the input voltage, if its USB on the other end it shouldn't do any harm. Any USB chargable device should be fine charging from it.

                          Ok... I'm trying it!

                          And... It doesn't work.

Don't Sony have something built into the PSP to stop you from charging from any old USB device? I think the CFW unlocked it.

When you charging by USB doesn't work, have you put it in USB transfer mode? It only charges when you put it in connection mode.

Correct - apparantly there is a problem that if the battery is completely dead it doesn't charge without the AC adapter though.

                                Quite an annoyance.
