No, it's nothing to do with them not having Japanese text at all. I actually thought you would of just had a bunch of PS1 titles on yours, which it seems everyone I've come across who owns a Go does. Being that the UK PSN has a terrible selection of PS1 titles, you can probably see where I'm coming from.

Out of your games though, the only one I'd definitely buy is Gran Turismo. I'd probably get Soul Calibur too, if it wasn't the absurd £62 that it is. The majority of your other games are not that great IMO. Either they do not suit a handheld or they are mediocre.

I was tempted to get Bayonetta, until I played the Xbox version and realised what a horrible mess the PS3 version is in comparison. One game where I'll wait for a UK 360 version *curses MS for not making 360 region free*

No offence taken. I know my gaming tastes are vastly different to the majority. I think I only still buy JPN titles as it's a long-time habit. I did go into Gamestation and buy a PAL 360 only yesterday however!
It was just the PS1 game thing I was referring to when I said about you having some terrible stuff though. It seems the native PSN isn't so bad after all. I might even check it out myself.

Thanks mate I do have Jak & Daxter and the latest Battlefront, but I thought that if Joe had a problem with anything on my list it would definately be those, so I kept em quiet

Believe me, Joe I'd easily have 8 of those games on my list. Due to my job though it just wasn't worth my getting a US or Jap account. If I had free wireless access at work I'd definately pick up a lot more US compilations but I don't, so it's not worth all the extra hassle of switcihng accounts each morning.

As would a lot of people nowadays, it's not like we have to wait 8-10 months for a translation to be done like the "old days"...a one month wait is hardly a hardship, given the ridiculous amount of great games out there at the moment on pretty much every format.

That's it. I'm not saying that NTSC is a bad place, as it isn't, but let's face it, the needs for a hardcore import gaming forum are long gone nowadays. Sure you'll get gems that will never appear over here (I for one lust after every 360 shooter that gets released) but a lot of publishers are getting far much better than they ever used to.
