From everything I have read it seems like the account system is identical to the original PSP, which is a shame. That means you can't change between users unless you 'return to home base' i.e. connect to your PS3, which isn't exactly the best system to use for a portable device.

well i have to do that anyway to play my us or uk psone downloads, so that's not really an issue.

Of course with the phone tethering option (which I can't get to work yet) it is potentially easier on a PSPgo.

It's a download only console yet when I download the Gran Turismo trailer it shows as unsupported data in my Videos so I cant watch it. Also I couldn't grab a Worms 2 demo cos it kept saying 'Install Failed' this really doesn't bode well for a console that relies entirely on downloading content.

So, Gran Turismo is £24.49 in Argos and £21.99 on the PSN store. So Sony are charging less for the download version than the physical media version for a brand new game. This is as it should be and I hope it continues. I suspect it won't though.

It was a definite surprise to see the pricing. The lowest pricing seems to be Sony published games at the mo with other titles ranging from ?24-?32..

I notice that the Bigs 2 is available for download from the UK store. It's not out on UMD in this country, with no plans for a release, which I think makes it the first download only PSP title in this country. I'm assuming for more niche titles, digital downloads may be the only cost effective way of releasing them in certain territories.

I think the Gran Turismo code can take up to a month. I registered last night, and also for the free three games, and haven't had anything yet.

Motorstorm is ?21.99 and yes is well worth it. Its very faithfull to the PS3 games and the graphics are very good.
Mine not turned up from Play yet, due later today.

Yep. Just go to the PSN store, click on the downloads link (one of the icons top-right) and re-download to your new PSP.
