Oh my. I just said to my friend the other day that I'm not bothering with special editions anymore. (I used to buy pretty much all of them) Only ones I'll probably get is the Gears of War 3 one (because I <3 Gears) and this (because I <3 Dead Space)

The Plasma Cutter was by far my favourate weapon in Dead Space... I pretty much solely used it for playing through Nightmare apart from when I ran out of ammo. Would LOVE a replica to sit on my shelf

Yeah, I only played DS through once on hard and didn't use any other weapons at all. I have no intention of using any other weapons in DS2 either.

Looks like the EU PS3 LE doesn't come with the Plasma Cutter. All other versions do (Including the US PS3 LE, so price clearly isn't a factor with the inclusion of Extraction).

Hehe. It's one of my favourate weapons in any game ever! And disappointing about the PS3 LE... But I'll be getting this on 360 anyway. Always do unless the PS3 is much better. I tried the Dead Space demo on my PS3 and it just didn't feel right with the controller.

Only 4 weeks till release ! I think I will even pass the demo because I don't want to see anything till I can start the finished game from the beginning.
Reading already some good stuff about the demo, looks like it's gonna be pretty damn awesome again.

I'm kind of with The Force on this one - I really want to try the demo but one of the things that was so amazong about the first one was knowing nothing. With just over four weeks to wait, I'm going to try and hold out...

PSN update still not there, so PS3 owners still waiting.... (unless you have hong kong account)

The UK updates don't happen until around 3pm Wednesday or if you're waiting for the US update it's usually around 1am Wednesday. It's easy enough to download the Hong Kong version though, if you don't have an account it'll take you about 10 minutes to set one up.

I can't remember the file size but it was a quick download.
