I like that they've got people from other studios creating stuff to download for the game. I'd like to see that happening with LBP 2 as well.

I was astonished when I found out this was not only going to be a full boxed title, but at full price too!

I just thought it was a downloadable title, the beta felt that way too. Simple cart racer with play, create, share features.

Also, if reviews are to be believed those long load times are still in there as well, which is another incredible thing. I guess with games like Lost Planet 2 and 3D Dot Game Heroes being so cheap on release, it's a surprise for me to see a game I thought was a downloadable title at £39.99!

does any know if this has a full single player campaign and if the players created levels can be D/L like Unreal 3?

It does have a full SP. As for downloading, as far as I know it's more akin to LBP than UT3. The tools for creation are in the game (As opposed to UT3 where they were on the PC) and you'll download everything from within that framework.

does that mean that player created tracks can be D/L to your Harddrive or do you have to be online to play them?

I'm going to guess you need to be online to play them (I'm sure that was the case with LBP), though I can't be 100% on that without trying it out.

I put the PSP version on my go last night a little rough around the edges but great fun and i love the creation tools, very clever, i will get it on the PS3 as well , but im going to wait for a price drop as i have RDR and Split second this week.
