Bayonetta shines above anything I've played in the genre in recent times.

What I suffered through of Jericho was absolutely godawful, and if it weren't for Konami on the executive credits I would be very, very wary of going anywhere near a demo, let alone actually putting down money for this. But Vin Diesel/Tigon turned Starbreeze into a good (if still very stupid) developer, so maybe Hideo can do the same for Mercury Steam.

Seen the trailer today, looks good.. in-game is 60 frames per second too. But I wouldn't call it instant epic, the dev does suck. I didn't like Silent Hill's outsourced games either.

That's a long ass preview. Didn't get all the way down, but I'm digging the positive vibes. Love Castlevania and God of War, no chance of me not picking this up.

Hopefully it won't crush me like Lament of Innocence.

Gameplay looks so much like God of War it's funny.

Looks incredible though, more detailed than GoW3 (although it almost certainly won't feature its scale). Hoping it's a bit less linear than GoW3 and has a fair amount of exploration.

I only played a short little section at E3 but, yeah, it was very very good.

I'm getting a proper hands-on with it very soon, I look forward to seeing how it has progressed.

I was at the Konami offices in London playing this yesterday but there is an embargo in place at the moment so I can't fully talk about it.

I will say this though, no trailer can truly do the game justice.
