XBOX 360 - Horizontal or Verticle?

Simple question really. Which way do you have your 360 set up?

If any mod/admin could add a poll I'd be grateful as I couldn't find that option anymore!

I've heard quite a few people say that vertical = higher chance of breakage actually.

I prefer the look of it laying down anyway to be honest!

Horizontal for me. Vertical seems too risky.

Horizontal for me. But here's the thing: I'm on my fifth 360, and the only time I actually got the RROD was when I had it stored Horizontall; all other times, when I had it stored vertically, it would just freeze up.

I have two 360's, they're both vertical and always have been. Both have broken down just once (touch wood) and one is a launch machine.

I have it standing up now mostly because I've moved into a flat and I don't have the luxury of space.

I have mine verticle, only because it wouldn't fit otherwise and I don't want it horizontal in my tv stand as it might overheat

I don't think it matters which way you lay it, the bloody thing will break in the end anyway.

PS: mine is horizontal. Being a midget I don't get on with things being high up.

Horizontal for me & it did break eventually so nothing is guaranteed but mine is a jpn launch machine & only died very recently (Has been Horizontal for it's entire life)

Vertical. I'm pretty sure that I read it was designed to be stood on end. The cooling system is supposedly less effective when the console is horizontally oriented.

Also note that publicity shots have it upright. The shape of the console is meant to represent drawing a breathe or some twaddle like that.
