I have it on the hizzle. Mainly because of a little person wanted to tip it over.

XBOX 360 - Horizontal or Verticle?

Vertical, always have and always will. I think it looks better standing up to be honest and I haven't had any major issues with it set-up that way.
Never really understood the "vertical = breakage" theory to be honest. The way I see it is, if you're 360 is going to break down it could happen either way. It's pot lukc really because we all know the 360 is the most well built console ever!
I have had always had my 360 vertical and only had to replace one due to the RROD (that was a launch machine anyway, had it for about 3 years). I know a mate who always keeps his horizontal and has had to replace his console around 8 times due to faults (the RROD mainly).Last edited by ezee ryder; 23-09-2009, 14:27.

I would have thought, ignoring airflow, vertical would allow greater, more efficient heat dissipation.

Horizontal all the way.
Also, I always say to people after playing for a session, leave it on the dash doing nothing for a good 10 minutes doing nothing, as this gives the fans a chance to get some of the heat out. Switching off straight away it literally cooks the solder balls inside the machine. Feel back there when you first finish, then again 10 minutes later, quite a difference.
