You have to wonder why they even bothered setting the date of May 12th.

May 31st for the US? Scratch that, Platinum and the balance patch are available on the US X360 marketplace. A couple of people are reporting that the balance patch is available on the PS3 too, as game updates are on separate servers, but I haven't had any notification for v1.03 on my US machine in Europe.

      Anyway, trailer...

So wait - this means the conversion to BBCS2 is NOT paid DLC? Only Platinum costs money?

Yep, that was the plan all along:

[edit] eastyy, have you had the chance to try online? Are the advertisments intrusive?

no not tried online did give platinum a quick try seems a pretty good character but to be honest i was expecting something alot different

i was thinking it would be like she would have 3 different moves sets (as if i remember correclty her full name is platinum the trinity ) but seems just the one set

seems a very well animated character compared to valkenhayn

She's called "the Trinity" as she has three personas inside (Sena, Luna and the original Platihum who fought the Black beast), but her drive is the most complex of all characters. I've played a bit with her on the PSP and she's a funny character.

Have the tutorial and challenge mode been changed to accommodate BBCS2?

Challenge yes, tutorial I don't know - never tried it on the PSP and between BBCS and BBCS2 there are no groundbreaking changes that would require a new tutorial mode.

Thanks but...there's already a BBCS2 thread based on the portable versions and guess who wrote Lambda impressions in it?

I guessss. Can't do stuff properly on a handheld though.

Absolutely, but I play them for the extra story modes (or better, I'll play them, waiting for the US version) and to get an overlook on how things have changed.

                              BBCSII Plus announced for Vita.
Will use the same hi-res arcade/home consoles sprites, will feature online play, with 3G and touchscreen controls a possibility under study by ArcSys.
Aksys already confirmed the title for US release without giving a precise date.
The "Plus" in the title comes from six new originals scenarios not found in BBCSII for PSP and 3DS.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift II Plus Rebel Unit: the Infinite Time Loop has been announced for PS3, X360 and Caf?. Will feature everything found in BBCSII Plus and bug fixes.

Toshimichi Mori, producer of the series, in an interview to Siliconera, stated that BBCSIIP will have touch controls and 3 to 4 new scenarios plus the 2 EX scenarios from BBCSII PSP/3DS.
