Providing the vendor mark-up isn't too ridiculous I quite fancy a piece of this LE.

Quite like the sound of challenge mode too - I found the trials to be a good way to learn the basics for new characters in SFIV, my only problem being that it was a bit poorly implemented (do one combo, have to watch a "victory" animation, spend a minute going between menus to cancel out of one and on to the next). If it's as slick as the rest of Calamity Trigger was and there's an option to display in English then I will be a very pleased man.

      Official Continuum Shift trailer
Find in-depth gaming news and hands-on reviews of the latest video games, video consoles and accessories.

The first part are shots from Calamity Trigger's intro, last few seconds dedicated to two moves from Mu-12's repertoire.

[edit] and Siliconera has a commercial for the console ports showing Mu (same footage as above) and already shown pictures from a couple of modes in motion. Nothing new, but...

Aksys confirmed a generic 2010 summer window for the US release of the console ports of the game. In Japan BlazBlue CS comes out the first of July, maybe the US release date isn't far from it, like the original CT.

Thinking about it now, I hope the US one does come soon after and has a similarly interesting LE. I would be ok with the JPN one in general but I wouldn't mind being able to play the challenge mode without a translation guide...

Really glad there's a US release cause it means I can actually understand the story and in particular the tutorial. Hopefully it goes into great detail as the I found the tutorial DVD with the US version to be really lacking for the most part.

Yet again I'm thankful that the PS3 is a region free console.

I hope its another special edition like the last one. Really love that pack.

Its stupid that Europe still has to receive BB1. But its great that the Ps3 is region free indeed.

The original Blazblue Japanese version was in full english (if you wanted it to be), I guess this will be too.

And the US version could be fully configured to act as a Japanese one down to circle/X buttons for cancel/confirmation, I think they are developing both versions in parallel to avoid US players buying Japanese versions and thus lowering sales in the Americas.

Aksys is holding an art contest for the inside cover: it started few days ago and it will end the 4th of June. Two winners, one for the X360 and one for the PS3, plus a free copy of the game. US residents only.

JPN and US versions already have a different front cover and there's still no word on a US LE, both are expected in July.

Fair play to them for engaging with the community like this, but if it ends up like the PAL cover art, then I'm glad I'll be getting the JPN version. Doesn't stop me being super-stoked about this though, come on July!

Getting the JPN version too, just for the Noel Nendroid. Not to mention that the Japanese cover will be far superior to the US version if Yes Asia is to be believed Though Noel/Mu doesn't look particularly good with those Gundam GP04-like shoulders when in armor mode.

I think this could very well make up for the nine month wait for CT. Blazblue is good fun, so I don't mind picking up this reiteration... hope there's a better LE this time.

Arc Sys even released a video:

It just days CS is coming to Europe but you can get few interesting things from the video, like extra animated parts I haven't seen in the arcade and what looks like Mu's Astral Finish.

A sneak peek at the LE contents, provided by Siliconera as usual.

I wants me Noel Nendroid now.
                              A month instantly became longer after those photos ;__;
