    Saw this in the flesh in Den Den Town today. I wasn't going to get a shot as the folks playing seemed to have shoved in about 5000 yen worth of coins, and even so I want my first dabblings to be versus the AI and there were way too many people crowded around.

    Unfortunately nobody was using the new characters so I couldn't check em out, but I did get to see some of the new moves, Rachel's giant pumpkin etc. Tager also has a new magnetic grab, kind of a reverse atomic collider, where he grabs his opponent off the floor and throws them up in the air. Niiice.

      I kind of miss BB, dar if you or bk feel like some games ill give it a shot again

      Also why have they changed the announcer voice, they pulled the same rubbish with GG, come on we want the meaty shouty heaven or hell voice, not the wimpy one booo

        According to previous news Calamity Trigger (not the revised/rebalanced/expanded Continuum Shift) will hit France in Q1 2010. Still no word on a proper European release, nor anything on how Continuum Shift will be distributed in US and JPN.
        BTW, always up for a game even if I'm pretty rusty by now...I go online once every one or two weeks and I get defeated by pretty much everyone. Monday and Tuesday are national holidays in Italy, I'll probably be able to show up during the morning if Darwock wants to join.

              In the meantime, here's a trailer for the Calamity Trigger PSP port;

              Aside from "Legion" mode, there's some other goodies. If you look at one of the screens it seems to have a shop with Unlimited versions of nearly all of the characters (Noel, Rachel, Taokaka, Tager, Lichi, Arakune, Bang, Carl) listed... then presumably footage of these. Check out the speed of Unlimited Tager and his reach on the 720+C Distortion!

                Continuum Shift "confirmed" by a leaked Famitsu cover that was quickly took down from their main site.

                  The rumored third character is true: μ-12, essentially Noel fused with the Murakumo unit.
                  Her VA is the same as Noel and Nu, considering that both characters are cloned from Saya, Ragna's and Jin's sister.
                  So: I main Nu with Noel as my sub, Nu has been replaced with Lambda but now there's Mu fusing both characters...I think my head will explode playing the story mode.

                  PS3 and X360 version confirmed for this summer in Japan.

                    Not soon enough! I cannot wait for this, really reliant on SSFIV filling the void for me in the meantime. This is one of the few fighters where I have complete faith in all of the 'extra' bits; as long as they get the character balance right, I would gladly take a re-hash of the story / online etc modes from the original.

                          Siliconera dropped more details on the game modes of the home port.

                          The game will have a Legion mode taken from the PSP port and a new challenge mode plus everything seen in the original. There will be all previous backgrounds, redrawn, as well as a new stage, dedicated to Mu.
                          I just hope they randomized backgrounds during ranked matches to increase visual variety during them.

                                Scratch the unknown limited edition, there's a Noel nendroid in it for little less than 10,000yen.
                                Moetron translated the beans spilled out by Dengeki online, looks like more animated cutscens too.
