A Handheld like this with the technology that it has inside it can't sell for MUCH less or Sony will be selling at a loss. I was originally hoping for a price drop myself, hoping that it would repeat the 3DS's launch "success" but now I'm looking at this realistically.
Any possible price drop will be small, and launch day bundles which are effectively giving away free games and memory cards will probably cancel out any future reduction. Let's not forget that the Vita has been available in Japan for a good few months now and as far as I'm aware there hasn't even been a murmur of one yet. Let's also think back to the PS3's western launch and how ****ting expensive that was and how many units were shifted. How long into its life did it get a price drop? I think it probably took the first hardware revision which took away functionality for a SMALL reduction.
I could see the RRP coming down to ?180-200 in the run up to Christmas.

Imagine if they had done this when the 3DS came out, game would have been selling about 3 games for it.

Where do you guys get US PSN vouchers from?

I was thinking it'd be cheaper and I'd be able to get some games a lot sooner as well as having good PS1 versions of games.
