And how much of a price drop are we expecting? 50% like with the 3DS? Wouldn't hold my breath. A Handheld like this with the technology that it has inside it can't sell for MUCH less or Sony will be selling at a loss. I was originally hoping for a price drop myself, hoping that it would repeat the 3DS's launch "success" but now I'm looking at this realistically.

Any possible price drop will be small, and launch day bundles which are effectively giving away free games and memory cards will probably cancel out any future reduction. Let's not forget that the Vita has been available in Japan for a good few months now and as far as I'm aware there hasn't even been a murmur of one yet. Let's also think back to the PS3's western launch and how ****ting expensive that was and how many units were shifted. How long into its life did it get a price drop? I think it probably took the first hardware revision which took away functionality for a SMALL reduction.

The 3DS has become the fastest console ever to hit 5m sales in Japan, and the Vita is selling about 13,000 a week, they can't carry on like that. If there'd been rumours of a Japan price drop before it'd even launched in the West it would have affected sales.

I could see the RRP coming down to ?180-200 in the run up to Christmas.

I can't imagine it would have been that much faster for me. It took 5 minutes. I only get like 3mb max, most of the time 2mb.

GAME is apparently not stocking any Ubisoft Vita titles.

Nice of them to tell everyone less than 24 hours before launch!

A few weeks ago they didn't have stock of games until late on release date (some even on Saturday), then Tekken 3DS, now this.

Presumably that is more a case of Ubisoft not giving them any stock rather than them choosing not to stock them - I imagine they've literally just found out themselves tbh.

GS is the same just got call to say my lumines won't be there tomorrow so as far as I'm concerned thats it for them no more Catherine was late too not going to bother with them for pre anymore I'll just ditch the ?2 and go to hmv maybe it was a plan for free ? (joking well.. Is game group after all) what annoys me more is I could have got it today from an indie so there is no shortages just game being their usual bollocks up self

Imagine if they had done this when the 3DS came out, Game would have been selling about 3 games for it as I seem to remember most of them were Ubisoft.

Hmm. What are the major benefits of using a US account? What made you do it?
I was thinking it'd be cheaper and I'd be able to get some games a lot sooner as well as having good PS1 versions of games.
