A PSP level hack is available for Vita that allows for emulators, PSP level homebrew and I believe PS1 ISO support. All I've done is run the SNES emulator on mine though so you'll need to investigate. Also, doing the hack now will be difficult as the exploited games you need have been pulled from the store.

dont know but i just purchased Street fighter x Tekken and Assassins creed 3 on vita, impressions will follow shortly, but for now can i get a "hell yeahya" for one of the first native resolution games in ages in sfxt!!!
EDIT:
scratch the native res comment regarding sfxt, that thread over on neogaf was bollocks...its a wierd mash up of native res menu overlays, and then(and most importantly) blurry characters and backgrounds. Assassins creed is also aesthetically underwhelming, with less res than even uncharted along with an awful framerate, not to mention some barely psp standard models etc.
Now i'm convinced this machine is dead in the water with AAA xmas run up titles dissapointing so badly. Baring in mind that UMVC3 was perfect on vita, or at least a much better effort than sfxt, and uncharted was a lot more impressive than AC.
All i see is games which look rushed, seem to have scrimped dev costs/time, overstretching hardware which either isnt all that, or is too difficult to develop for.
I dont know...
Its not looking good to me though.Last edited by PaTaito; 31-10-2012, 21:44.

To be fair the support Vita is getting from Japanese devs is far better than that from Western ones. Then again the Vita just slipped below 5000 units sold for the last week in Japan, so it's barely selling there anyway.
It's a shame because I genuinely think it's a brilliant system with some great games and tons of potential. I love my Vita.

I really do think that retailers could help the system in a big way. Im very envious of Americans because i think im right in saying that Target stores over there are offering buy 2 Vita games get 1 free and from what im reading it includes all major and recent releases. Would be nice if someone over here would offer this kind of promotion. But then again knowing our retailers like Game Etc it would only be on the old games.

For the past four months or so, my Vita usage consists of turning it on on a Thursday to see if the PSN has been updated. Not that I'm complaining. I just haven't found much time to use it, as I've been actually playing PS3 games recently. I'm going to give Wander to Kyozou a try later though.Kept you waiting, huh?

Going to nip into town at dinner and buy one but I also have ?30 PSN credit so will buy the cheapest from the store using that.
Without checking everything is more on the store than can be had in a retail establishment. I think ?39.99 for all of those on the PSN.
