I'm mostly looking forwards to the DW Fist Of The Northstar game, hope it gets a 360 release over here soon after the Japan release or at the same time.

Yeah, it looks like there's gonna be some interesting stuff coming out next year. Like others there are games from 2009 I'd like to try at some point, plus my quest to play Ico and SoTC.
Briefly:
Mafia II - if they can iron out the flaws of the original, this could be an absolute delight
Red Dead Redemption - I hadn't given this much thought 'til the most recent gameplay trailer
Heavy Rain - this will hopefully be unlike any other game in existence, which means I want to play this
Halo Reach - if Bungie can tap into what made the original so overwhelmingly great
Bayonetta - the demo didn't really do much for me, the reviews mean this is getting the benefit of the doubt for now
Agent - if this makes it in time, an original IP from Rockstar has to be worth getting excited about
Half-Life 2 Episode 3 - If this is out in 2010 then it will probably instantly become my most-wanted game. I'm also looking forward to finding out what Valve's next big project will be.
The Last Guardian - the new answer to the question "what is the most beautiful videogame in existence?"
Jury is out on Bioshock 2 for me, though I will obviously monitor it with interest; ditto the new Splinter Cell, FFXIII and Alan Wake. For me Mass Effect was one of the most overrated games of recent times, so I'll wait for evidence that Bioware have fixed the combat and vehicle sections before I show any enthusiasm for this.

Q1 is the new Christmas!
With a combination of slippage and fear of Modern Warfare 2, it seems a load of games are now pencilled in to come out at the start of 2010:
January:-
Bayonetta
Darksiders
Army of Two: 40th Day
Dark Void
Alan Wake (just after Duke Nukem Forever...)
Mass Effect 2
Dead Rising 2
Feb:-
Dante's Inferno
Bioshock 2
Star Ocean
Aliens Vs. Predator
Heavy Rain
Dead to Right Restribution
Also coming out:-
FFXIII
Gran Turismo 5
Splinter Cell Conviction
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Mafia 2
Red Dead Redemption
Max Payne 3
Just Cause 2
Metro 2033
Heist
Lost Planet 2
Take a look at January of 2009, there's not many big hitters!
I'm curious how this'll affect sales of these games and if they're a bigger success than if they're out at Christmas, companies will do this again. Do they not know that January seems to last 8 weeks until we're paid again?!
Note: I've based these release dates on Gameplay's release calendar.
