Definately gonna try this as BAA1 was great but I do have concerns about how quickly they're turning it around, if it's based in Gotham I'm not expecting it to make full use of the setting as it'll surely have to stick quite ridgedly to the original design

      Robin and Two-Face possibly confirmed:

An IMDB listing for Rocksteady's sequel to its genre-defying Arkham Asylum confirms that Mark Hamill reprises his performance as The Joker, and he's to be joined by Two-Face as actor Bruce Greenwood takes on Harvey Dent and his alter-ego.

What's likely to prove more controversial is the inclusion of Robin, to be played by Vincent Martella who most recently voiced Hope Estheim in Final Fantasy XIII.

I can't help but hope they use him as camp comic relief to be honest. It would be hilarious against a proper Batman.

Probably not something to draw too many conclusions from given that technically Bat Girl was in the first.

Isn't it Commissioner Gordons daughter in some Batmans? I'm no expert, but I'm sure some of them have that - and it's she that's on the end of the communicator... I think.

Man, I can't remember anything with any certainty any more.

Hopefully he's used quite cleverly which I'd hope is the case as the first game took place quite far along the Batman timeline and his abscence from B:AA would suggest an ominous fate. Otherwise as time has proved, Robin=FAIL

The first batgirl was Barbara Gordon, the Joker crippled her by shooting her in the spine, so now she's confined to a wheelchair, and helps Batman as 'Oracle'.

Read the in game character bio's, they're quite interesting, especially if you've only a casual knowledge of the Batman universe.

I dont mind Robin. I just hope its Dick Grayson (i.e the first Robin) Could work quite well.

Robin will work fine. He's (Or she) bound to be in it as there's bound to be Co-op, and a cover system, and a death match mode. This is the rule of sequel.

If it's in keeping with the tone they aimed for (and hit) in the first then I can see Robin working quite well. It's far too easy to see a campy Burt Ward or the wooden acting of Chris O'Donnel whenever someone mentions Robin.

Personally I'm just landed that we'll get another Joker performance out of Hamil. He was classic in the last one. I'm glad it didn't turn out to be the swansong for one of the most memorable performances of the character.

Could it not be Jason Todd as a villain? That would be pretty cool. Or Robin could appear in one of the Scarecrow's fear induced levels - reliving Jason being murdered would be quite the downer. (depending on your opinion of Jason as Robin)
