i highly doubt this will be actual gameplay graphics, except they use a much better engine than with Origins. to be honest, i don't expect anything more than some polish here and there - which barely lifts the visuals over first gen 360 games. the fact that still no console footage has been released pretty much backs this up.

          Hindsight, new belt DLC:
Hindsight is a belt possessed of a strange, slow intellect. Whatever would have killed the wearer, does. At that very moment, the belt develops a resistance that would have saved them. No one knows how Thaulid managed this, and at this point, it would be difficult to ask him. When the belt is held in the light just so, the leather reveals a grisly catalogue, etched in glinting lyrium:

          "Thaulid Hammerspur, fire.
          Gorgut The Wizened, poison.
          Vil Arak, stabbed forty-three times.
          Haliath Baronet, witches."

It went on like this for many years, until it fell into your possession. Your temporary, temporary possession.

Can redeem your belt by clicking the "GET YOUR DAII PENNY ARCADE BELT" on the right of the page.

Edit: Don't forget to sign up for the Dragon Age Newsletter, they are sending out more codes for the Staff of Parthalan during November.

Cheers for the info guys! Got the belt sorted. I signed up for the newletter to get the staff AGES ago and still don't have anything I'm not the only one according to group on Facebook either!

Don't quite understand it to be honest as that belt was delivered instantly, and yet the staff is going to be a code? Makes no sense really!

Thanks for the info Adam, I didn't know they knew and were working on it!

I've doubled checked my info and it's all correct - curiously I get emails telling me to 'pre order the signature edition of DA2' but no staff code! Hmmmm

Hopefully it will come through soon - I resigned up with the Penny Arcade freebie so should be all good now!

5:32 of gameplay, it may not stay up long though.

I know they're different types of game but after ME2 I found the quality of Dragons Age to be... frankly, shocking. The gameplay, the visuals, the voice acting, the animation, the sound etc. It always astounded me how some peeps were so ready to praise it. Based on the various vids doing the rounds the visuals seem more solid, the scripting still looks dodgy (though that might be part of the charm) and the combat seems more fluid. Still way short of Bioware's usual standard though.

The harder I think about DAO1, the more major flaws I can find with it. It's a game that was better than the sum of its parts really.

I look at that vid and I get depressed. There's no tactical thinking at all there, looks like the only thing approaching tactics will be endless kiting. The hack and slash combat looks uninspiring, your hits lack any feeling of impact.

i was about to purchase the Ultimate Edition of Origins but i accidentally deleted my save files while trying to get rid of the game install

i wish save files were not locked to profiles so i could just download and play a different one.

the video above obviously shows the 360 version - unfortunately i can't say it looks anything better than Origins. maybe i get the PC version this time, because it not only looks better, but it features commands queues and lets me remove the silly censorship, which most likely will be in place again i fear.

                                Censorship? In Dragon Age?
