I did it just then because you're making things up. How does me saying:

I think you're being far too sensitive. It seems that if anyone has a strong alternative argument they are 'forcing their opinions' or 'jumping down your throat'. However, there's a big difference between a strong argument and forcing your opinion on someone.
I'm guessing you don't post at a forum like RLLMUK. They'd eat you alive there.

constitute 'jumping down your throat'? If I'd said 'STFU you don't know what you're talking about' then you'd have fair point, but what I said is a million miles away from that.

Anyway, its still a horrible review thats all over the place.
As I have said the reviewer seems to contradict himself a bit too much, he says things like the first half is boring but then nearly all the positives he discusses are things that the first half of the game actualy focuses on, it makes little sense really. I'm not actualy arguing that the second half of the game is better, it actualy is, but its just not a good review of the game for me.Last edited by rmoxon; 19-03-2010, 01:20.

Is anyone else hyped about LA Noire after this month's feature?
I thought 'meh' after looking at the screens, but reading the preview made my jaw drop. That game sounds insanely ambitious. Really insane.
Sounds like they're using this tech (1:00 onwards) or similar for facial animation. It captures the actor's entire face in 3D, not just a couple of tracking markers. If it's as good as they describe, this should blow other examples of in-game acting out of the water.
The tech will be used for GTAV too!

Heres my down your throat 2p worth, which ive thought for a long time
a) Brats you work for Edge and wrote that review
b) A friend or colleague works for Edge and wrote that review
c) Your the biggest Edge fanboy in the world, and wont let anybody say anything or criticise their reviewing or scores.

Poor Brats. I think you guys are being too hard on him. I know I've seen him express his appreciation for games Edge didn't rate very highly so I don't think labelling him a fanboy is accurate.
Furthermore, I often enter threads voicing an opposing opinion to his but have never felt he's tried to ram his opinion down my throat, nor have I seen him try to ram it down anybody else’s. Indeed, despite frequently disagreeing with him, I'd say he's one of the more enjoyable people round here to discuss and debate with because he usually sheds insight from the perspective he's approaching a subject from. And that's precisely what good debate should provide - a greater understanding of where others are coming from.
