The 3d phones have a WQVGA screen. Cheaper to use the existing production run than have a custom one knocked up.

Handheld nirvana. I am intrigued about the 3d movies too. It was a bit vague during the conference but are we looking at being able to buy 3d films on cartridge? 2gb more than enough for all but Lord Of The Rings length feature. If they release Avatar film in 3d even apple will start worrying

I think it will be unlikely they'll offer full films. Trailers seem a lot more likely.
