Seems like you should take your own advice and respect, and live with, my opinion. I'm not going to respect people who come at something hating it and give it a quick go just so they can say they gave it a go and hate it. I respect Eddie's opiinion because he's actually spent some time with it, respect has to be earned in my opinion.

It's not like I named any names or quoted anyone though, I gave them that much respect at least, which is more than can be said for some. Some people seem to be overly sensitive though, I wasn't really referring to you or Shozuki with the hater/troll comment, but it seems you both thought I was. Maybe you just have guilty consciences!

Well had a long play on a friends 3DS today. After the pain in my eyes playing RR I was expecting more of the same. No problems at all. Loving pilot wings. Gonna pick up my unit in the morning. Cheers for the previous advice chaps.

Cool. Glad to hear Pilor Wings was alright for you, did you give RR another go?

I've got a laptop with mobile broadband and I'm pretty sure it has wifi built in, so do I have everything I need to get my 3DS etc online? You'd think that would be enough, but I have a feeling I'll need a USB wifi dongle... If so, any recommendations?

I think a 2D game such as a platformer would be perfect for the 3DS, if it had several layers, something like Yoshi's Island or Super Paper Mario. DK Returns would be good too I think. Some of the 2D menu's done in 3D look great, like in SSF4.

There is certainly an air of snobbery amongst some of the online media towards both iOS games and the 3DS. IMHO the industry needs the 3ds to be somewhat of a success, not just in hardware numbers but especially software.

There needs to be room for the smaller-not-quite-appstore but not quite AAA billion budget titles. IMO That's where the 3DS would slot in (and others obviously). The piracy protection is going to be vital for software numbers. I think I mentioned before but in the past I've spoken to publishers who were thinking of axeing a foreign language SKU of our games because the localisation costs outweighed the potential sales as piracy was so rife. Really scary.

What's also scary is the current RRP of the 3ds games in game. Hopefully these will be bought more in line with current new DS games (30 RRP and £25 online).

Well I must admit I don't have all that much of an interest in the small app store games. Yes, some are great (like Tiny Wings) but already I find myself wishing there was a real meaty narrative game on the 3DS. Zelda is meaty but I've played that. Not sure what else is on the horizon.

I'd go for Bioshock 3(D) or something. Something I can really delve into and where the 3D becomes simply an immersion tool, something it could be really well.

I have PES2011, and I have to say I'm very happy with it, in fact I can't put it down, the 3d view is impressive but is not ideal for playing as it's hard to play that way, but playing with the traditional wide angle it looks brilliant. I was not expecting the wide angle to use the 3d as effective, the players look really realistic, turn the 3d off and th difference is massive, the replays are just fantastic, just wish they could be saved.Shame there is no online but for me that is a minor thing, for a first effort football game I can't praise it highly enough. Can't wait to see what EA come up with as they have all the correct teams etc.

I just said I wasn't having a go at you, Shozuki or Eddie, so clearly not an attack on anyone who says anything bad about it. It seems you need to learn basic comprehensions skills, quite apart from anything else. Either reply to what people have actually said or don't bother.

And even if I was attacking people for criticising the 3DS it'd still be stating an opposing opinion, so you've contradicted yourself once again. Your first sentence was your opinion - not fact.

Can someone answer this, 'cause its just a thought that's popped up.
If the game saves are stored on the SD card, does that mean that I can save these game saves onto my PC and also perhaps, transfer this on a different same region 3DS?

Also, the 'limited time only' 3D vid we get now from Nintendo, is there anyway we can back this upto PC and watch later?

Played some more of this today, traditionally I am a rubbish player so I started on beginner but that has become too easy now I've switched views. The three vertical modes were too disorientating for me so I've switched. Played for a bit on normal but because the 3D mode is even better on closenormal. I too wish that replays could have been saved to SD card, I have witnessed some wonderful moments already. Messi wrapping his leg over a whipped corner from Xavi to volley in against Inter Milan. Iniesta getting felled outside the area and whilst still tumbling the ball breaking back to Villa to curl a shot into the net. Pedro firing in a thunderbolt from a ridiculous angle to beat OL's Lloris high at his near post in off the angle of crossbar and post. Everything feels more alive on the pitch. It's winning me over.
