The PSP - now there's a console I'm glad I sold before the price came down! The 3DS has had a far better first 6 months or so than that did, games wise. In fact you could argue that it's already surpassed the PSP's software line up. I'm surprised you didn't sell that too.

i am taking about the hear and now - the fact that most 3ds owners seem to be getting excited over free GB and GBA games seems to show a lack of something - its just an observation. Nintendo doesnt usually give too much away for free, so the free stuff is obviously a sweetener to make up for feeling shafted. I think most 3ds owners would say its had a pretty poor 6 months (i know several big gamers who have got rid of it) and i doubt most people bought a 3ds to play old gameboy games.

Plus free stuff is always good anyway, no matter what it is.

Ive also used my 3DS alot more than I used my first PSP which i bought upon its release. Now that was a handheld that had a horrible start in life, there was nothing good on it besides Ridge Racers for about 2 years.

Compared to the PSP after 6 month, the 3DS's early catalogue of games looks amazing.

Dunno what everyone is complaining about. I've still got 3DS games that I've not had time to play + there are a few big releases to come this year. I'm quite content.

is the free stuff old GBA games? I would assume most gamers on her would have a modded psp with the full GBA rom set on it.

I don't have enough time to play what I have for my 3DS, although interesting import exclusives aren't exactly appearing very often - Gundam The 3D Battle and Tales of the Abyss are the only 2 really so far that appealed to me, with AZITO 3D coming out next. Senran Kagura? Mm, pass.

Got my Monster Hunter 3G pre-order in on PA, along with a separate slide pad. Now I just need to book the days off work to play it.

I'm content in that I'm waiting for Kid Icarus to hit before importing it in along with Zelda and Starfox, and that I'm deep into the Korg DS10 synth at the minute (which in all fairness is a regular DS game).

What really brings my piss to a boil is that the DS10 Plus only got a JP/US release... and my 3DS is PAL and region locked... meaning I can't upgrade my music creation without either buying a local 3DS or a DSi/XL. Bastards.

It will be worth it once I reach the boundaries of the regular DS10, however, and I'd maybe be able to cross the DS10 over with the DS10+ giving me six synths and three drum machines to piss around on. Not even Jean Michel Jarre could have dreamed of such creative capacity back in the day (maybe).

Announcements, fair enough. But they've calle a press conference, and you don't tend to do that for anything minor.
