I've just gotten around to registering 2 games, clicked that little red Kid Icarus box on the right hand side and the email address box popped up, have an email saying my code should be emailed within a few days.

What I can't understand is how I enter the 3DS console comp? It says a banner should appear in your club nintendo account page but it hasn't, only the Kid Icarus one....

Edit: Right, banner appeared below the Kid Icarus one so all good! Picked the Toad one...

Bought my 3DS just after the Kid Icarus promotion finished in Japan. Quietly gutted but then I've never played it before so nevermind.

Just had the sound completely die on my NA unit...In the spirit of true tech support, I turned the console off and back on again and all was good \o/

The current 3DS sales boom is great news. Its such a turnaround from 6 months ago. MK7 and Mario3D were the best one two punch I have seen since GT Portable and Motorstorm Arctic came out on the PSP Go launch.

Has anyone tried the 3D movie converter to play SBS movies on the 3DS? I downloaded it but havent tried it yet

The Japanese version doesn't, but I'm hoping Capcom acknowledge that the rest of the world is NOT as densely populated as Japan and include one. Nothing official on release yet but I imagine the success of MHTri will mean it's a yes.

Pikate: nothing like Zelda. Obsessive-compulsive RPG with complex weapon-customization system themed around, well...monster hunting, best played cooperatively. Officially a religion in Japan.

The system on Tri is the same system that has always been used, though the Japanese version allowed 10 hunters per lobby not just 4, so getting people to actually leave on a quest was much easier. Shame it was pay-to-play though.

Pikate, if you've ever played Phantasy Star Online it's very much like that but with a more complicated item/equipment system. You have to combine items to make most of the things you need and collect pieces of monster to create/upgrade equipment. You should be able to get MHTri for the Wii pretty cheaply these days so if you want to give it a go you should.

Monster Hunter Tri is probably the best game on the wii, the series is basically a console Orrientated MMORPG, except it doesn't have levelling as such and has both single and multiplayer modes.

The aim of the game is obviously to hunt monsters
