Did anyone get Cooking Mama 4? I'm tempted to get it. I haven't played any since the first DS one but really enjoyed that and thought it might be time for another. But I found the touchscreen controls somehow unresponsive on the Cooking Mama 4 demo compared with the first one. How's the full game?

Been debating it for a while but will probably just wait until it's really cheap. If found the controls in the demo a bit unresponsive too and it's definitely a concern of mine at the minute.

Hehe and you never bothered to ask me, had that sucker since day one. Can't say i had any probs with the controls, all the touch screen ones worked ok for me, as far as new stuff in the game it's pretty much like all the others except the graphics are like the wii version & 3D is added. Some minigames use the motion sensor but i find those to be fiddly if you use the sensor, however you can use the touchscreen for those as well so it's not really an issue. Theres a good variation of dishes to make.

Oh Nintendo, how you make me laugh. Getting all cocky will surely backfire have they learned nothing, they screwed up bad & they damn well know it, only the fact that the price was super slashed & decent games started to come out that saved it. I love Nintendo stuff but this is the first time they nearly lost me on their handheld, for the longest time it was just a gaming wasteland with those piss poor launch titles.

A niavely designed console and a huge barren timeline of games, evoking a bunch of freebies in a desperate attemp to keep a pulse.

Only one thing was proven really, great first party games will sell hardware...especially hardware which is massively slashed in price.

It still annoys me that i will have to buy into this circle pad **** though....rendering my upgraded battery useless. Just stop pissing into the wind already nintendo and release a machine thats correct and left wanting for nothing from day one. I guess to an extent the same goes to sony/ms, but at least they are for the most part purely cosmetical upgrades.

You have to say sony had the right idea in this regard, release an expensive console with everything, and take away what you dont really need to bring the price down later on. Not release machine with a **** battery, no second analogue stick, **** 3d viewing angle with loads of free ghosting, and tiny main screen to boot......and no games lol.

On the the issue about games, you cannot really just blame nintendo. The gave third party the chance they ask for and they blew it. It the retarded attitude of third parties who still see handheld gaming as a platform for budget games. It doesn't help that some consumers see it that way as well and it is certainly not really helped by the likes such as apple who are promoting ****ty low budget clones to be released on appleshop. The budget game are killing other titles on applestore and handheld gaming, imo, not in a sense that that they sell more or are downloaded more, but it gives every other game released on handhelds, apple shop and android a bad image. Everyone now is expecting games on phones and handheld to cost 1p regardless of how much effort and investment was poured into it, it is just not sustainable.

Interesting little insight here. The maker of the universally panned Flatout 3 has said that it has 3 3DS games in the work. It's not that bit that's interesting but the bit where their original game for system was axed when the publisher lost confidence in the format due to the low sales. To have 3 games in the works now suggests a big turn around in publisher opinion.

I think Nintendo need to just bite the bullet... and use the hardware they have released. I have had a cracking time with my 3DS since xmas. All the free games Ive had, Starfox, Mario, Mario Kart and now Resi.

All games you would expect to be great which is a given, even if it is broke dont try and fix it!!! Just role with what you have got!!!

I'm back at the "is it worth keeping?" stage.

I've rinsed Mario 3D & Mario Kart 7. I've also just finished Resi Revelations. Looking ahead there's nothing that floats my boat. I can't justify buying MGS3 when m getting MGS Trilogy tomorrow and Kid Ic / Luigi / Animal Crossing don't spark my gaming nerd anymore.
