Its okay. It'll be my second so I know to put my foot down early andstamp out any potential whinging about me gaming. Its my hobby like hers is watching "Don't Tell The Bride" or "One Born Every Minute".

I just ordered one of them ugly slide pads. I guess I will never be going outside with it so it will be ok :P

Ok was playing revelations on the way into work, so finished the mission as we got into station, after that i need to walk awhile, so quits revelations and puts 3DS into sleep mode, thinking in town might get few streetpasses, have to get another train which i have to run for, gets on train and opens 3DS and its froze, cant shut it down or nothing , luckly had small screwdrivers in work to take back off and take out battery, but now menu and some scrolling slow sometimes, this happen to anybody else??, ideas what happened?

I blame the slide pad....even if your not using it!!!

Had a google search and it seems like a random issue with the system. Some peeps have had it (more likely if a Day 1 unit) but there doesn't seem to be a single main reason for it. Nintendo will sort it/replace it no quibbles if you do the whole sending off thing.

Maybe Sony has sabotaged it with ConjunctVITAs?!

I've had my 3DS hard freeze on me a few times when using the web browser (for about four months that was literally all I was using it for). I found that I was able to get the machine to shut down by holding the power button down for a few seconds.

Has anyone recieved their free code to download 3D Classics: Kid Icarus yet? I registered my two games ages ago now and notcied yesterday it's on the E shop to purchase :/

Log out of the site, log in again and you should find a button to register your mail for the code. That's if the button still exists, I think it was supposed to end at the end of Jan - they just made the process hard to find.

I went and demoed a unit in gamestation, despite my worries about headaches (although im sure at length id still suffer) i enjoyed it.

In fact, i found the 3d pretty interesting, I was expecting a kind of cliche jump out environment, but instead the 3d just seemed to assist in my own perspective, like if i play a racing game, im looking down the track; the 3ds sort of accentuates this effect in a good way, sort of helping my brain along to make the differences from a pure 2d environment to a more realistic perspective. (i hope this makes sense)

Anyway pretty good, ill prob pick one up sometime for resi evil fun
