ONM have tweeted the uk launch lineup:
Super Mario Land
Alleyway
Tennis
Excitebike 3D free until 7 July
Pokedex 3D
No prices as yet, but as they're 400 yen in Japan, looking at, at least ?3 for the Gameboy games.
What a load of tosh, no Zelda, no Game Gear/TurboGFX games. Seriously thinking it's time to get rid and pick up a 3DS again when (if?), better games show up.Last edited by Greg Moss; 02-06-2011, 12:38.

Excitebike isn't emulated, it's been re-done to make it full 3D. It's not a full remake but it's more than a rom.
Either way, bland selection. Links Awakening was promised and not delivered, like so many 'launch window' games.
Hoping that the MS/GG selection builds up over time (although it appearing would at least be a start). I know the MS was largely a European console in terms of popularity which is why it doesn't garner the same retro fanatasism (much like the Amiga) but it still deserves far more kudos than it got.

I just looked at the excitebike video (Nintendo's own video) and it looked like a GBC colour game. TBH, it doesn't matter whether it's emulated or not. It *looks* like it is!!
I'll keep hold of mine anyway but I'm sticking with the current firmware in case someone manages a region-unlock-hack.

To be honest i wouldn't expect much else from the 3D Classics series, they're probably all going to be NES games but in 3D.
I think the launch titles for the e-store are ok, along with DoA (and pilotwings/puzzlebobble coming in the mail soon) it should keep me occupied at least until Zelda comes out.

It's quite predictable that they would be starting with some of the very earliest GameBoy titles. As a general rule though, I don't buy a game I already own (it's not as if the original developers get any money if I rebuy an old game). But if they 'enhance' more of these games with features that cannot be offered in the games original form such as 3D, I'd be a little more interested.
