The issue is this. 3DS doesn't have a patch system. It has a firmware update system. Developers can't yet issue patches. (I don't know if they will be able to.)

Nintendo release a new firmware. It breaks Ridge Racer. Nintendo phone Namco, apologise, tell them they'll have another update out soon. Namco can't do anything about it. Nothing at all. (Apart from maybe sue because Nintendo have made them look bad.)

Just had the blue notification light flash up on my 3DS and I got all excited about the update maybe happening a bit early but it was only a message telling me it'd be happening tomorrow

So far...

J console updated, browser working, can't access the e-shop.

NA console updated, brief access to the e-shop to confirm province (for taxing purposes), tried to get 3D Pokedex: error, tried to get Excitebike 3D: error.

Not impressed so far.

On the plus side, the 3D arkanoid game looks pretty sweet and I can finally get Qix.

The Japanese eShop is working fine for me, though I am in Japan. Hope they aren't doing IP checks or something.

So far: Grabbed Excitebike, Pokemon AR thingy, Mario Land, Tennis, Alleyway.
Now, I'm transferring my DSiWare games from my DSi.

The store is getting bombarded at the moment so there are loads of connection errors - but if you persevere - eventually you can get what you want.

Kryss, 3D arkanoid game?! Wha?! Link please mate.

Are all Dsi Ware games available? I can't seem to find Cave Story in the store.
