can you seriously play this game with the d-pad on the 3ds?

Or the circle pad. At the preview event it seemed ok, not sure how it would stand up to prolonged play.

Given the hash they're making of hyping up the launch software with proper previews etc I decided to play it safe and pre-order a game. The winner was... Pilotwings Resort! Not entirely convinced by it still but it's unique enough in the gameplay if not the setting to help the experience of a new handheld along. I might trade stuff on the day for a second game which is leaning towards Ridge Racer 3D or (if absolutely desperate for choice) SSFIV

See, now that Blue version looks a lot nicer than the 1 that the guy in GAME had. The 1 in GAME (display model obviously) looked like a kinda cheap foily Blue colour, whereas the 1 in the FB Play-Asia link looks more kinda like a speckled or metalic paint look.

If the Blue looks like the 1 in the FB pics then I'd defo get a Blue over a Black.

Yeah, that vid restored some faith in my decision to get Ridge. I was a bit worried it was going to be all US muscle cars and no classic RR tracks or cars.
