I'm gonna be checking the packaging and the weight mine before I sign for it. There's a TNT depot at Trafford so I'm tempted to tell them to keep it there and I'll drive up tomorrow morning and collect it.

My sister works in claims for DHL. They take a very hard line on their staff when this sort of thing happens. When your entire business model is based on customer satisfaction you kinda have to.

Just had a bit of a play on my producer's one. Bit of Street Fighter. Works well, although I don't think I could get the hang of playing with four face buttons and shoulder buttons after having been on the 360 with an arcade stick for so long.

Technically very impressive though, was surprised at the quality of the models and the fact that the 3D 'just works'.

Although the over the shoulder cam mode you can play is *clearly* just for posing cause it's really hard to play in that mode (especially with my normal main Juri, who jumps about a lot). It even has CPU vs CPU as an option for max 'pass it round your mates' posability.

As the ad campaign says, you do have to see one to 'get' it. Hmm, might pick one up sooner than I thought I would (although it'll be DOA I get rather than SF4).

Popped Ghost Recon for about 3 minutes - was honestly shocked at how amazing it looks in 3D (screenshots don't do it justice) then quit the game (people were playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in the office and it was noisy) so I could save the enjoyment for the train home tonight.

What's a QR code and what's it for?

Splinter Cell arrived today alone, useless game alert but at least I've read the instructions and input the club nintendo code first time I've been on there for years, I had 3000+ expired points what a rip off. Though I'm surprised I remembered my login at all!

The 3DS shipped on the same day but I got the email a bit later, it could be sitting in a depot somewhere or could come by courier. Do HMV use couriers for stuff that size?

I'm going out TWICE tomorrow, they better see the note I leave in the window.

EDIT: Oh a tracking number has appeared in my email, I've never heard of Home Delivery Network. Entering it got me the reply "No events have been recorded for this UPI yet. Please try again later." fine I'll try every 30mins!

I just rang my local Gamestation to find out the non bundle offer game prices. They said they still dont know and probably won't until 10.30pm. He scanned a copy of Splinter Cell to test and nothing came up. My bet is they are waiting to see what the competition do. On my high street that competition is Granger Games
