They've not even appeared as pre-orders yet...

With discounts and offers on the cards, it may make me more willing to spend money on the store. As it stands, ?10.70 for DSiware is a rip off and the way they put up the price for GB games that are actually any good is questionable.

Strictly speaking RE:M is the 2nd most popular 3DS game ever!

I think Zelda boosted opinions on the console but it's not quite enough to be a system seller in its own right. Star Fox won't be a system seller (it's much lower profile than Zelda).

The first big title is going to be Mario 3DS and that's going to be a winter title. That's a loooong period without AAA titles for a console struggling to get off the ground.

With Bee.com's instore offer still being a 3DS with Zelda for ?169.99 it seemed rude not to pick it up after the sale of my car went through. I've not tried Zelda yet but a quick fiddle around with the system reminded me what a brilliant piece of kit this is.

I just tried using the d-pad for the first time with Solatorobo yesterday...

It's pretty damn awful; small, clicky and stiff, I couldn't see myself wanting to use it for any length of time.

Yeah, I've had a real problem with the d-pad. It's so tiny but also, with where it's placed, it seems to put a lot of strain on my thumb. Wanted to use it for SFIV and it felt fine for a while, but it began to hurt and it wasn't long before I just couldn't use it any more and had to move to the circle pad.
